Due to the amount of cops and 1 US Marshal in my neighborhood I can not allow any underage drinking and trust me you will prob get caught anyways if the turnout is like it was last time. We have problems with cars sppeeding here and the cop presence is high so do the speed limit as you enter also, or don't listen and then you can bitch about your ticket all day and not have fun.

How bout we meet up at a central location initially (somewhere cool like patriots point or something), then do the cruise, then BBQ at Chips. If Chip is up for it, of course.. either that or we can always find somewhere to eat. If its at Chips, then we all should chip in for donations, pun intended

I think we have always had a no drinking rule for the meets (ive been told there is a story behind this rule, but it happened before my time), but i think we can make an exception, due to Chip's offering for people to stay at his house afterward instead of driving home. A few can stay at my house if needed also.

as far as the cruise, we could meet up at patriots point over in Mt pleasant, then do the bridge run. That brings us downtown charleston and we could stop at the battery for pictures. Then head over to west ashley to ashley river rd, which is a fairly scenic road. I think there is a nice park/plantation up that way that would be good for pictures. Continuing on Ashley river rd, that would lead us straight up to summerville and Chips side of town.

I'm with Jamin on meeting at Patriot's Point... it's very easy to find unless you have a difficult time using your eyes and brain for that matter. It is right off of the highway in Mt. Pleasant. use Google Maps and type in: (Patriot's Point Mt. Pleasant SC)

We should meet early around Noon and drive through Charleston and surrounding roads then BBQ at my place. So vote and not for that bitch Hillary!!!

 

That works for me too. I think at this meet we need to get the actual club organized. Like offices that we can vote on so that meets can be more organized. I like just going with the flow just like anyone else, but we could plan dyno days and other types of events. If anyone is interested in getting a dyno day started, let me know and i will try to get some info. i know of 2 dynos in charleston. Show Zone, and Power Zone. Anyothers?

I like the drive around charleston and surrounding areas box but there is no lunch option on that one and I kinda need to eat sometimes. Oh, I only chose that b/c Im hoping theres some good backroads in the surrounding areas. Is it pretty cold out there? Just asking cause of the beach thing.

We are all going to meet at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant that way even the Upstate guys can find it. They are not real bright and should not miss the aircraft carrier when they go over the bridge.

So whats happening. Time? How long are you gonna drive and where then how long will the BBQ go?

 

Start time is the only thing up in the air. We should start early 10-11 and spend an hour or so hanging out/waiting at Patriots Point. Then its a short ride to Downtown for some lunch and Pics at the Battery. After that a loop around the backroads of Charleston. Realistically getting back to my house about 4 and beer n BBQ til whenever. I have darts and a billiard table to keep those lacking personality occupied. Those who need a place to stay post it so we can help you out. No need to drive several hours home. Chip
