I'll take your money if you don't know what to do with it.

In other news, Phillip no longer has to pull the EGI fuse to start his car when it's hot. Fuel pump cut-off switch FTW!

Thanks Gary for mapping the course. I have been trying to put it together from Google Maps, I got all the maps printed and the course marked but haven't done the cuttin' and pastin' yet. Now I don't have to.

Glad to hear and see that y'all found most or all of the markers. Drive it a few times and you don't really need them. I had no idea how far it was but guessed that is was about 90 miles.

Any places that anyone had trouble figuring our where to go? I still have some paint left and can improve the markings where that is needed. Anyone have any problems with traffic or hazzards? That course is now available for all to use and enjoy through some fairly isolated backwoods, in places.

So what car stuff did everyone get for Christmas? Show and tell at the next RRDI.

Only two turns that we had to guess at.
From Purnell Rd you turn left on Bold Run Hill rd (Marker 6 on what I posted). I don't remember seeing any marker there.
And then coming back down Epypt Mountain Road(Marker 20) I don't recall a turn there.
We ended up turing north off Egypt Mountain, so I could get some Gas in Oxford, and we cam across a pretty awesome road (Ed Harris Rd), that you might wat to add to the route. I'll bring my lap top to the next meet and point it out.

Anyway, very cool course, maybe we can run it again the afternoon before the next meet.

I believe I saw you pulling out from the Cruz Thru on Saturday night I think it was. I was next door at the skate park and heard a creme colored FB head towards downtown. It was pretty damn loud. I heard it for quite a ways.

That's hilarious. You "heard a creme colored FB head towards downtown." You "heard" it! That is awesome. Ok, enough hell-giving. You skate or ride BMX?

Ha ha, that wasn't me but it describes my car perfectly. I'm still waiting on my new registration sticker to come in before I drive it, it ran out in October (oops.)

Yeah yeah. I'm just that good. I saw it for almost 1 second and I heard it for about 10.

I don't really do either. I was just picking someone up from there.

I have my 7 in the shop tryna get it ready to bring it to Raleigh, but im having a lil problem my U joints are bad so I tried to replace them, problem is is that since the car is a direct import from japan the U joints are not the same so hopefully Napa, autoZone, or advance auto can help me out ill get their answers some time tomorrow. Ill keep the Raleigh forum informed since I am going to bring the sven up their as long as those u joints are replaced first.

What year is your car? Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sorry if I'm preaching to the choir, but aren't only the FB's universal joints replaceable? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the FC and FD are non-serviceable; you'd have to buy another driveshaft.

the FB's U-joints are not replaceable either, unless you have an aftermarket one like Mazdatrix has.

On a totally unrelated note-anyone have FB driveshaft laying around they could hook a brotha up with?

WOOT! The vert is sold. guy is coming to get it on monday. So ends the 4 months of trying to sell it.

Now the question that needs to be answered is: Do I mod the 91, or save the cash for a future downpayment on an S2000.... choices choices.

They're have been several posts in the 2nd Gen section on replacing the u-joints and where to get them, not sure anout 1st and 3rds ones. Seems people have done it even though everything/body says it can't be done. Anyway, they pop up in the 4sale section and ebay all the time or get a Mazdatrix one.

Happy New Year guys!!

I will be at MSCCNC meeting tonight. I got some personal announcement to make too. Hope we can see some of you there as well. We probably have one of the strongest Mazda and RX7/8 group around southeast region and I sincerely hope both clubs can grow stronger together in 2007!
