S5 N.A. Engine Parts FS (B'ham pickup)
This weekend I cleaned out my parts waser and decided that I needed to get rid of some of the engine parts I have.
For Sale:
Major parts from S5 n.a. engine block that had 80k miles. The engine was not "blown" it still made good compression but the front bolt had fallen out and I assumed that the motor was run out of oil. Based on the condition of the bearings I do not think that it was damaged at all. All parts have been partially cleaned but need much more cleaning before rebuild/assembly.
Rotor housings - normal light wear, no chipping of chrome
Rotors - all seals are inplace but most to be stuck due to the carbon.
E-shaft - front main bolt fell out, threads and pully attachment may be damaged
oil pump - still within specs considered ok for a rebuild
stationary gears - good condition, light wear marks
irons - front, center, and rear irons have light and normal pitting (have used worse in a rebuild)
Also have the front cover, oil pan, and miscellaneous parts (bolts, dowels, etc.)
I do not want to ship these items so I am offering them for sale locally. They can be viewed and picked up from my house in Helena (just south of Birmingham) or I can help deliver them (meet you somewhere) within a reasonable drive.
$200 for everything.
