hey whats up guy? im trying to get everyone i can for a meetup here in atlanta,just hangout and showoff.im thinking in about 3week but i need you guy to help me find out where would be the best place and what day!!! theres to many rx7s in atlanta not to get together and hangout!

 

Hey thats a great idea but how about some more info.. like when and where. I'm from southern AL and I havent met up with other rotarys since I came from CA. Hope it happens at a time I could actually go. Late..

 

The people here in atlanta are notorious for not meeting up together. If a meet is planed it has to be warm outside, not raining, and you need to figure out some random spot that cost little to no money to congregate in(since noone wants to go to the Varsity anymore and D&B sucks). thats leaves us with ramdom parking lots with heavy police involvment, god I hate atlanta.

A long time ago, we used to meet all the time. Usually would have dinner in Marietta. But most of us have families and work a lot, so we don't meet regularly anymore.
If you want to have a meet, why not one of the old dinners again.

I like that track in birmingham, maybe we could find an event to meet up there. Make a rotary scene up there.

 

If you give me like a month, I'd be able to take out the turbo vert. But other than that, I would be down for anything.

Yea, I work in the kroger/panera shopping plaza just down the street from the big chicken. That would be good I guess. I just hope we don't have this on friday or saturday night...I got work. I've missed like 2 or 3 "meetups" because of that.

 

We could try a Thursday night, like we used to always meet. And yes, the mexican restaurant is Los Reyes. I would not want to go up to Barrett Parkway, as that seems to be a place where the police force knows that people want to race.

i say we all meet at my place and have a change out the RX-7 rear end party? no, ok. if i get my ride back up and running i will be down for a meet. but the wife would shoot me for taking her car and leaving her stranded at the house.

i always enjoyed the meets there!! to bad i'm in slowvannah (savannah)... in the last two months we have had three guys move away from here, and in the next two months the third i.d. will be going back to iraq... so it will be up to like three or four of us to carry the torch until they get back...
