rx7+fire= not good. need help!

my poor fc caught fire today. hadnt assessed the total damages yet. carbonfiber hood is destroyed, battery is melted, and who knowswhat else. im pretty sure it was caused by leaky banjo bolt on fuel rail. how hard would it be to fix.

That sux man! Could it have been the fuel pulsation damper? Gas and hot exhaust manifold do not mix well.. Good luck.

brillo RX-7 is the easiest Car to break in. If you want to know how PM me I dont want to say it on post for safety reasons but if you need to know how to break into it I can tell you how without doing any type of damage so that you can get your keys out without having to pay a locksmith.

That really sucks man, Evan called me about it today. I'm gonna be over there around 6 or so tonight and I'll see what we can do about getting into the car and assessing the damage. I'd say if you're still wanting an RE swap, now is the time because you'll need a new ECU harness anyway. I bet your motor's internals are fine, but every sensor and wiring harness in the engine bay is probably fried.

No problem man. All thanks to a brilliant key design by Mazda. If you own one, you own them all!

It don't work. It only works ont he driver door as that i the lock cyl that gets all the were and tear. It works like that on several other cars as well, trust me we get lock out calls all the time and sometimes it is easier to use another firefighters car key than the lock out tools we carry.
So driving off with it is a no go.
