Huh? This is an ad hoc group of people showing up in a parking lot. I don't think it's a matter of someone being "in charge." I'm not in the habit of making an *** out of myself, and I don't intend to get any tickets. But I don't think anyone will be giving any orders, or in the mood to take them from a self-appointed "leader."

Undoubtedly there will be a lead car, but if someone suddenly takes off at 100 mph on I-4 I don't see what I or anyone else can do about it. I hope that doesn't happen, but let's be realistic about trying to coordinate an informal meet up of various people through a forum on the web. There's such a thing as trying to over-control an event.

 

Realistic? please dont take this the wrong way but i have been to countless meets, thrown meets / togethers and sevenstock where there are 500+ rotaries driving around and no one needs to be told or grabbed by the hand like a little child

Ok what i am trying to say is someone needs to take charge at that gas station .
1- round up everyone driving and tell them to take it easy going up to the location.
2- try and keep everyone together
3- dont race or act a fool around the caravan

Whats so hard about saying that in a nice way, seriously do you want some one been an *** around you. I sure as hell dont and i will let the person/s know straight up. We are doing a lot to try and make this a great even the last thing i need is to hear someone wrecked because of their very own stupidity. Every caravan needs someone to be in charge.

As for someone blasting off and breaking the rules we CANT DO ANYTHING about that, that person/s is plain ignorant and doesnt care about everyone else. So they should be pulled aside and be told they are screwing up.

if anyone has a problem with that give me a call too, because your name is not running on this event , you are not responsible for what happens that day in "THE EVENT" and you dont have to speak up to very important personel at the event explaining to them why people are doing things they shouldnt at their "SPONSORED EVENT"

This ain't my first time at the rodeo either. So far, by my count, it's me and two other guys. This ain't exactly a Panzer division coming through. Knowing how things have gone with RX-7's around Tampa we'll be lucky to get half a dozen cars to show up. If I hadn't raised the prospect of a "Tampa caravan" no one would be talking about it. You're getting carried away. Lighten up.

I know is non of my business who leads a caravan or not I dont care about what I dont want to happen is that because some misunderstanding about a caravan or who is going to be the lead or this or that some will not come to the event because they got mad someone for something not really that important.Yes safety is the number on thing here and we really dont need no foolishness we all know that but I think we are we are all adults that could behave in the best way possible.Me personally I think a caravan will be awesome why because seeing 10,20,30 cars pull up to the meet should be a thing to remember.

Lets figure out which is the best way possible to get over to meet all together at same time.Work it out guys I know is possible lets make this a meet to remember.

Ok Guys this event is getting Better and Bigger than a regular meet, Will be one of the kind. Thanks to all you guys working on the caravan's for different areas.
