Hi,
My name is Alex Rodriguez and I am trying to start a large central florida rx7 car club. Right now we have 6 cars in the club and about 10 that say they are joining but they are very hard to get to. This RX7 club will be for recreational and meets also to bring back the love of rotaries. Some of the benefits that we are soon to promote will be , sponsorship from HF AUTOBODY AND PAINT, SOUND SYSTEM SHOP, and working on a bond for car club discount with central floridas greatest rotary engine builder and racer, JESUS"KILO"PADILLA aka kilo racing.

Our club name will go on front of windshield only, our logos can go anywhere and we are working on t-shirts for members

Rotor7ven will be holding a meet once or twice a month on a designated location,time, and centralized for all members.

On these meets we expect: parts and vehicles for sale, group pictures, food and drinks, FREE give aways , and much more....its what we as a community bring to the plate. We all have a saying when you join ROTOR7VEN. Ideas and future dates can be worked out as a club.

I hope that we can recruit more RX7's and in the future promote more to the community of rx7 owners.

Well i guess im in since i have the logo already. lol I just need a sweet engine and harness and my Tii swap will be complete. I just switched the fuel tank out for an FD fuel pump, Damn screws. and the whole 5 lug and rear diff are in also. pretty sweet interior for being red.

 

I'm in miami but I frequent the orlando area. If nothing else keep me informed of get togethers and I'll try to work around my crazy schedule. Good luck. Kilo esta corriendo duro.

 

I finally got my rx7....'90 gxl clean as hell and stock like a newborn...im waiting for omee to give me the ok to go get my sticker

Yo, If you are in Miami then why didnt you come out to our meet last night in Miami Lakes ?
or the one that we had on Monday in Kendall near the Home Depot on Kendall Drive.

You know the SOFLA RX CLUB started in Miami in December of 2004 and we have had a meet once a month 14 in all to this date... in fact we have a meet on Saturday March 25th, at the Grand Prix of Miami in Homestead to take the parade lap.

Tony 'Dreamofmyrx7' branched off of our club and got one started in Orlando called the CENFLA RX CLUB and he has a meet this coming Sunday March 19th...

not to deter this one from getting started but you guys could merge with Tony and take advantage of the sponsors and disctributors that I have here in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

BTW: Im fixing the kinks in my BP first gen and taking it today to Cano for my Holley!!! LOOK for a doo doo brown first gen making a bunch of noise Sunday -Erik

 

You should go with a Sidedraft Mikuni Carb instead of the Holley. A guy in the RX club that drives a 1st gen here on the forum 'LWNSLW' has one for sale I believe.
You would like it better than the Holley... I used to have one on mine and then I went to Weber 45mm Sidedraft. No fumes... much better response also. Here is the pic

I will ask Carlos Lopez of CLR Motorsports who is the Rotary Guru if he knows of someone who tinkers with Webers or Mikuni Sidedraft near or in Orlando.

wow this thread came back from the dead well guys its cool what you guys are doing and we are down ROTOR7VEN but we wont drop our name or our club but if its ok we can be part of your chapters for central florida....rotor7ven has been around longer than cfrxc but like i said we are down for what ever

our club mostly consist of family and friends

 

my rotor7ven sticker started peelin cause me and noel put it on without cleaning the windshield first lol. CHECK IT OUTTTT MY 1ST 7

i still havent seen the sticker yet is it the same or what

 

i think the guy at speedzone robbed us cause urs seems alot bigger then ours, i payed 35 for mines cause mines was black with red outline but since i didnt wash my windshield, alot of it peeled off. the only part that really stuck was the black, omee's is str8 silver and noels is str8 white.
