I'm flying again. $158 R/T on Southwest. Direct flight from Jax to Indy.

The bad thing about Southwest for me is their cheap fares are at the times that are most inconvenient for me to fly. I have to fly back Sunday night because of school on Monday. Which means I'll end up on Delta for about $189 round trip with stops in Atlanta.

 

I'm going to the Rev, I'm in NC driving from the charlotte area. Prolly leaving friday morning. anyone else? I'd be down for a group drive.

 

If we can get 4-6+ people in the caravan, then we can stagger the meetup times so everone gets rested & drives together.

If we're shooting for Friday @ 5pm to checkin to the Indianapolis hotels, then I'd probably leave Atlanta ultra-early Friday morning and meet up with the AL, NC, SC, & TN folks in Nashville ~8-9am.

Florida folks could "bead & breakfast" Thursday night at my house if they want. I'm right off of I-75 in South Atlanta.

 

I want to get up there early evening also. I have room at my house for those south of us too. I'm on the north side of Atlanta off of I-85 about 20miles north of the perimeter (I-285).

Sounds good , What hotels are you guys staying at? I'm at Lee's I know they are all on the same road but just wondering. I acctualy have an 8 not a 7, I haven't seen to amny SE people on the 8 bpard going so glad to see people here willing to go the distance.

 

I haven't booked my hotel yet, waiting to decide on caravan driving vs flying.

No worries Holly, last year I walked back and forth between the Lees and Ramada a few times. All three hotels are that close to each other.

 

Hey, I just mapquested and MSNed the directions anyone done the drive before? I got 2 almost totaly diifrent directions mapquest sends me from charlotte, to TN and then north to Indy. Now MSN sends me More north into VA and WV across ohio to indy. Anyone with a suggestion or what route are you taking?

 

Who else should I add to the caravan list ?

I'm all in, I also posted on the 8 board trying to get an idea of who is going and who wants to drive together. I'd also like to hookup with possably the ohio's as we get closer. where is everyone coming from? We should tjink about a good place to meet up.

 

Ok well doesn't look like any other 8's from the SE are going to be driving. Its about a week out so we should talk about a place to meet up friday morning so we could ride up the the Rev. I'm pretty flexable since you 2 are closer together.
