Well I showed up but they told me this is not a yunk yard and told me to turn around,I was cracking up my son was like what they say,, I was like man they said my car is a piece of ****, he was like really I said no jk.. Well my fenders are in primer and front and paint faded, Is cool I would of felt sdtupid but I been doing this for 15 ++ years it takes alot more to feel stupid,

I told my wife what they said joking and she is like sorry i said is ok next time ill put my rotary engine from my rx3 in your lexus and some weld racing rims on the lexus then maybe they would let me go in, she was like your stupid,,Plus it wss to dam cold for my kids I said what up to luis and took off to viisit family plus i got to race on the vortex for a bit with my son and mother in law.,

the people at Old Town are so biased when it comes to the cars.

I had a 72 nova when i was 16. missing door handles, bumpers, rusted in areas, mufflers hanging off, ect... but the paint was damn nice. They put me right up front. But told my brother to turn around once. He was in a civic with over 500whp on low boost and 700 capable on C16 and higher boost setting. but there was a little bondo work on the rear quarter...

Yea I was parked back their., is all good , I never taking my car out of town or even more than 10 min from house since i just drive to work and locally, it felt good driving it that far and car ran good really good, so it was worth it,

and is all good next time my car should be painted ,

Chino Rx-3 thanks for show up on friday night sorry the guys from old town they don't let you get in. I know the guy with the blue Rx-3 he will show up in our next casual meet (not in Old Town) I will let you know any changes. Take care.

I know for sure i can be there. but i dont want to drive just to park my car outside the gate.

Will they let me in with a red hood on my white car? also my paint is not the best...

Sen2two just buy some NOVA emblems and put them on the fenders and the two chubby old guys at old town will look the other way. lol

 

Will they let me in driving a Supra?

 

They would, just tell em its lowered, wheels, tint, custom plate or plate frame, spoiler. Should be good enough.

What year is your supra? If its newer than 87 then they check for 4 "external" mods. Pretty ridiculous, I know. I see new stock chargers and camaros get in with no problems. Some pretty dirty pickup trucks also sneak in there somehow.

My Supra is an '88 have a bomex wing.. and a TRD lip. I will just need to show them my 2JZGTE under the hood. that will be my ticket in.

 

Ok guys lets warm up Old Town meet is coming up Feb 5, monthly meet is on sunday Jan 31, Rotor Fest is on March 28, 2010 and other activities and events will be taking care in our casual meet, so I encourage all rotor heads to attend our meetings. Peace.
