Still doomed to my bed! Right around now I wish I had gotten a bullet between the eyes instead of this darn back surgery! To relax a little I got my father in law to startup my car so that I could listen to it for a few minutes. I wish you all have fun this upcoming friday at old town.

Although I was not there today, I heard what happened. I want to let it be known that from this day on I personally will not have anything else to do with the Rotary Invasion @ Old Town. I've had it with the staff and the B.S. I believe we are not welcomed there so therefor I will no longer attend. It is obviously my opinion and my actions and not to be costrued as for everyone on our group. So this thread is dead to me. LuisGT

 

I'm not sure what you are referring to as this was my first time to the Rotary Invasion meet. I must say I'm glad that I went despite not being able to stay very long. It was great to meet new people and see new rides. I can't remember everyone's names but I still felt the same rotary love I did when I had my old car. Kudos for all of you for making it out and making my first time a fun one.

I hope we don't stop coming to Rotary Invasion. I know I can't come every Friday but I would like to still know that it's an option every month.

Anyway, I'll post some pics soon of the meet up at BWW. I didn't take pics at the meet because I was too busy talking and looking at cars. Thanks for a great time everyone!

Great turn out last night at Old Town, even do the negative comments comes out from the OT staff, that they dont stop us (at the present) to keep show in up and we want to teach them we are an organize and we are one of the biggest car club that participate in the friday night cruise at OTown. OT have some specific rules and WE ( that means everybody, no exceptions allowed) have to follow step by step. I encourage all our Central Florida Rotaries to be more patient and what ever happend yesterday like the last month (a visitor and a non-member of CFR Club was rev his car and get out of the cruise, that affect our image as a car club) or in the past is fixed and is history, you know in the past. So please lets have a great time in a peacefull way, this is not a track. If spectators ask you to rev your rotary engine your just smile them and keep going with the cruise in normal way. Thanks

The Rotary Invasion is getting better and bigger so all those rotary fans get ready for our last meet of the year 2009 will be on Friday Dec. 4 - Remember this is a free event and great hang out for everybody, meet new friends and share a good time with family and old friends. This one is closing the 2009 so I invite and spread the word for those they dont know this is happening at OT, that come join us and be part of the Central Florida Rotaries.
