Rolex 24 2016

Who is going to the Rolex 24 in Daytona? I'll be there with the Rx-7 with Jeanne for the whole weekend. Is there a coral meet for Mazda?

Race is January 30 - 31 starting at 2:10 pm. Tix are $60 for the two days ( includes infield ; Saturday & Sunday ), $ 45 for the garage pass ( a must have ) and $ 15 for the delivery fee ( non-negotiable ). 4- day tickets are more expensive but include the BMW Performance 200 on Friday and Ferrari support races. There is a Classic Mazda Pre-Race event here in Orlando held on 1/16 from 5 - 8:30 pm where a lot of Central Florida rotaries always show up. I will be attending the 24 hrs this year, let's see if we can get a decent turnout from the rotary crew this year.

There is also the pre race this weekend where it's cheaper and less crowded. You have a bit more access and can bring your car into the I fields of the stadium. Might go to that too

Thanks for the info! Is the pre-race Mazda event free or do you need to buy tickets?

Are asking about the meet held at classic Mazda in Orlando on the 16th? That's free. I recommend getting there early. Bunch of those hair dresser cars seem to be planning to be there.

As for the roar before pre Rolex race in Daytona this weekend, that's only 15 bucks and it's well worth walking around the pits and have pretty much the track to yourself and you can park your car inside the track.

Yeah I was talking about the Maxda event on the 16th. That sounds like fun. Are you riding out to the Mazda event with other 7's? I'm in Orlando too, east side near Waterford Lakes.
