ok so here it goes. my buddy tad has an mr2. on sept 29 their is going to be a big mr2 meet at fort desoto park. so here is my plan. the mr2 owners realize that not everyone who likes an mr2 has one. so really this meet is for everyone. this is my idea. i think all the rx7 owners should get together and make this meet someting that no one will ever forget. i try to go to most of everyones events. me and tad rode down to markham prak dor the dsr meet. it was a an easy 2 1/2 hour ride. most everyone in cen fla knows him. were coming up with some plans for a big central fl meet in lakeland in a couple months as well. but anyways i think we should ride out to this park and have an rx7 mr2 meet. ley me know is anyone can make this meet. im talkling i want people to have to wait on the side of the road to get in this park cause all the cars coming into this place. thats what i would like to happen

it would be nice for like a 15 to 20 car caravan to this place. its going to be something like a beach and cookout day or something . i have never been to one of their meets. but its definatly going to be fun though.

we dont know yet. were planning it right now. but were going to give everyone plenty of time get reasdy for the meet. lets just work on having a big turn out for the mr2 meet right now. when we have it planed i promise ill post it up and let everyone know about it. its still a couple months away.

 

sorry to butt in here, but why? i wouldnt want a bunch of mustangs to invade one of our 7 meets..

cause they dont mind. all the cars are going to be in their own spot and its just a bunch of people hanging out u know. tad the mr2 girl about me and how i mihgt could get some rotor heads to come out and she was like thats cool. dont know man. this is the deal. either u go or not. tad rides out to our meets all the time with his mr2 and no one cares. im just trying to get some rx7s together for a nice little meet. im not explaining myself no more

 

about the caravan. im not going to go to orlando and ride back past my house but if some people want to ride out from orlando we can just meet up in lakeland or something right off I-4. im down for the caravan. thats like 50% or the reason i want to go is for the drive over there.

 

i will get with everyone and set one from here and meet you somewhere to the meet. don't forget we ahve a meet on the 8th. and just to let people know tad (mr2 owner) has been to alot of our rx7 meets so let's give some back and show up to his meet.

I'll try and make it. I'm new and would really like to meet some people. Don't make fun of my 7 when you see it though it needs work. but of course I got the most important part done first, making it sound good he he. I need some help figuring out stuff to do next.

the park is on the west coast. its nera tampa i think. we had a caravan to this park for a mazdapooloza event about a year ago. tony knows where it is

 

this park is all the way at the end of st.pete at the very tip, where you can see or swim over to sarasota, literally across the channel from park. It is a beautiful park, ginormous, with cement piers, big pavillions, large parking, etc. but really nasty food at the concession stand on pier. if you have a fear factor stomach, then your ok. it is probably 75+ miles at least from Orlando.
