Project HID conversion *pic*
hey guys well while undergoing surgery for my car i had a good friend of mine who had 8000k hid's on his eg6 well he decided to go with a different set so he sold me his kit for $15 that included the 2 8000k bulbs 2 igniters and 2 ballast i went to the local advance auto parts i looked around and found a housing with an h4 adapter for $20 i decided ehhh what the hell lets try it out so after about 20min of some splicing and wiring and heat shrink wrapping heres a pic of the difference between a stock sylvania bulb compared to an 8k HID bulb... let me know what you think =)

Thanks

I know the 1st gen section is interested in a straight up kit, if it'll work well for
a reasonable price.
The HID Kits for the 1st gen will not be available for about three weeks...
The housings that you would have to use are ones that sell on ebay w/H4 bulbs.. once you get these headlights 6024 type you simply remove the bulbs and use the HID ones that come with the kit that I sell....
Here is a pic of the Headlights that you would have to purchase first:
78-85 Mazda RX7 Diamond Cut HID Headlight 84 83 RX 7 C Item:8069190574

Note: The housings dont have to be Diamond Cut.. but i just posted these on here to give you an example that housings are necessary to have since you have to have the capability of changing bulbs whereas with the old units 6024 Sylvania they were sealed units.

PROJECTOR as opposed to those pictured above, which are REFLECTOR bulbs.
HID=Projectors, and they are designed to work with specific headlight cases/bulbs to
properly disperse the light beams.

Some people that have purchased the HID kits that I sell either opt for Diamond Cut or Smooth Surface bezels. Its really a matter of preference. In some instances the diamond cut units spread the light out further since the facets are like tiny mirrors reflecting the light intensity. It really becomes a matter of preference.
