I wish it was that, but I just found out that it was an electrical problem. And since I rarely had time to do anything, I sent it over to Mazda and I now have to pay 300 for the diagnosis. Now, since she told me to get it running will cost me 800, I have to tow it back to my place, and decide what to do next. Unless I can find someone who can fix this eletrical problem cheap, my FC will most likely be sold and I will then buy another one. But, I don't want to do that. I want to ge tit running again. She also told me that it had many more problems, but just to ge tit running again, i'll have to put up 800.

sounds like the air bypass control valve (easy fix) or an auto tranny problem (hard fix)

Well, they got the engine to turn, but it won't fire up. my engine was flooded ith gas, thus affecting my spark plugs. oh, and I turned down Mazda raping and took it to Irish Mikes. Picture of the bypass control valve, if you can, or where it's located.

on the drivers side of the intake manifold. the coolant line goes from the water pump to it then back down to the throttle body. it lets air into the engine when at idle or when at low rpm and the a/c is on. i have a real bad flooding problem. rotory's will not start even if you floor the gas pedal. I have a fuel cut switch so I can turn off my fuel pump. so when I crank it the engine burns up what gas is there first.

Is that an easy install? Oh btw, She runs again....Hot damn. Can't wait to finally put on my damn Cusco strut bar that's been sitting in the box for 4 days after it died on me. I'm itching with excitement. Wait upon having the fuel cut switch, when you turn off your fuel pump, and crank the engine, will it fire up? Or is it there to just burn up the gas? I'll research this aslo.

ya, mine starts with the excess gas thats in there but just after it does you have to turn on the fuel pump again of course. My switch is just wired into my fuel pump relay next to my ECU
