Hey so I got to thinking what if we can have an event at a local race track? I called up Wake County Raceway and I told him that there might be a pretty big interest in a drift event if they wanted to host one. He seems very interested in the idea but wants to know how much interest there is for a drifting event on a asphalt oval track. Its not a street course im thinking. Let me know what you guys are thinking and how many people are interested in doing this. I'm going to ask around on other forums as well and see what we have.

It shows it might be possible to get an event started there if we had enough interest.

I am in the process of calling Rockingham and trying to see if it would indeed be possible.

Let me know if you would be interested. A good turn out on the forums and other forums possibly would be great if trying to convince the track.
