Any of you guys play poker in Birmingham?

I have been playing online for about 2.5 years and got my first taste of live table play at a friends house about two years ago. Then my first tournament was in Vegas over Thanksgiving vacation last year. Then earlier this year I went to Tunica and played a bunch there.

About a month ago I dicovered that Pub 261 in Pelham had a free holdem' poker tournament on Monday nights. The company that actually runs the poker tournaments holds them at various bars all over Birmingham every night of the week.

There is a free regional tournament this Saturday (May 6) at Fox and Hound Bar and Grill on 280 (in the Colonnade). Registration starts at 11am and play begins at noon. There will be prizes given out but they have not announced what they are yet.
