Palm Beach Area
Hey guys,
I'll be moving a little further south into the Palm Beach area. I'm getting back to my roots in automotive service by taking a management position with Bridgestone/Firestone. I'd like to find out if there is anyone in the area that is involved in SCCA that can help get me introduced as i'd like to get into some SoloII racing or performance driving schools at Moroso. Also, if there are any local clubs or organizations i'd be interested meeting up with some local club members.
About 10 or 12 years ago I got involved with the original and now defunct RX-7 Club of Florida. Between going to college, starting a family and venturing into a line of work that wasn't centered around cars I lost touch with most of the people in the club.
Go ahead and PM me or post in the thread any info you can regarding local clubs.
Thanks,
Ray

Hello,
Sorry to hijack your thread but I was wondering if you have any advice for me on getting a job with your company. I work full time as a technician at a dealership but I need a second job and I'd like to work at the local Firestone on weekends.
I filled out an application which they probably tossed in the garbage, so besides applying online what's the best way? Thanks.

Then associate yourself with Equipe Rapid and the Goldcoast PCA then you will have some Autocrossing to go to, they do sparatic events at Moroso on the Karting track.
Chin Motorsports does track days or DE's.

Along with NASA:

The SCCA has ZERO presence in South Florida unless you head to the West coast, the closest SCCA event on the East Coast is in Pam Bay.
