F**K THE SYSTEM!!
Guys, I'm in need of an s4 brake booster. I have been trying to fix my brakes for the past 4 to 5 weekends. I'm stumped, and this is the only thing I haven't replaced.
Also, if any brake gurus out there would like to give a helping eye/hand, it would be greatly appreciated.

It was good to see a bunch of rotards today. My son came out to his first car meet. He seemed to be mostly interested in the first gen RX7.

I'm going to be selling my white S4 vert. I want to put it here for a heads up before I post it in the classified thread. It's in awesome shape. The engine has 90k miles on it. I left off with the transmission and diff. It doesn't need one of either as of yet, but it would be nice! The interior has re-stitched original seats in microsuede. The steering wheel is a nardi torino leather as well as the shifter. The hand brake is nardi in billet aluminium with a leather grip and suede blue stitched boot. The center surround is a new s5 version to include the shifter surround and boot. The interior is 90% new. Wiper switches, convertible switch, headlight etc all work. It's a great car. I've had it for almost five years. Drive it daily for two of those years. I know most of you have seen it. I'll add some more photos later on with the nardi hand brake and new shift boot/surround when I post it in the classifieds.

Hey guys...I have a 1990 RX-7 GTUs with a full bridgeport that has been sitting for a few years. I need to get it going again and decide whether to keep it or allow someone else to enjoy it.
Anyway, I know there's a unique series of steps to take in order to get an RX-7 back on the road and I'm not familiar with it.
My buddy Terrance, AGreen, moved to SC so he's not able to help me get it going again.
Is there anyone in town available to assist me? Thanks in advance!

that's the full guide. its pretty straight forward. I wouldn't mind helping on my day off but I'm a 3rd gen guy so I don't know how much help I would be.

It would be much safer, and faster for me to find someone local who knows his way around an RX-7, that can help me knock it out and get it driving again.
I'm hoping to get it going this month. If you think you can help revive it, let me know and we'll set a day aside to do it.
Thanks!

Thanks man...I think I read through that about a year ago. The thing is that I don't have time to learn it all, troubleshoot, and get it going again.

I have some time on wed afternoon after an interview. Otherwise I'm free on Sunday.

Plus I have work around 4 on Wed.
I'd like to get everything we'll need when we meet and get that beast going that day. (if possible)
PM me everything we will need and let's see how much of it we have between us, then we can pick up the rest before we get to work on it.

It may be better to do it Sunday so we have a full day, just in case.

so to sum it up. I would recommend:
Oil
Oil filter
Coolant
Sea Foam
Fresh gas
And depending on how they look:
Spark plugs
Belts
I have tools, but thats about it. I'm in the proccess of getting mine up and running after being down for a complete rebuild and single turbo upgrade...its been over two years

Why do you recommend the seafoam route?
We can check on this before we get the other items that day.

Well agreen is right depending on how it was stored. When I knew mine was going to be down for a while I made sure I put some lightweight oil in the intake and turned it by hand to lubricate the seals, rotors, and housing. I guess I'm assuming you stored yours the same way other wise transmission fluid will work. It will help moisturizer the seals so they don't break/crack.
The sea foam will help remove any sort of buildup or carbon that may have been there before it went into storage.

So I borrowed one of her cars and ended up just using it for a couple weeks because I didn't feel up to working on the 7.
But when I went to start it one day, it wouldn't start. So, again, I just left it and continued driving another car.
Then one thing after another and it's been storage hopping for the past 3-4 years.
I wonder if I even knew about lubricating the seals before storing, if it would still be lubricated this much later....idk
Anyway, that's where I am with it...I think I have some tranny fluid and light machine oil in the storage unit.
We can check out the car and everything I have in storage to see what all we will need to get from the store.
What time Sunday works for you?
