Official DGRR "Get a Room with the Gainesville Guys" Thread

Hi there...you don't know me...but I bet you'd like to!

The Gainesville crew is hitting the Deals Gap Rotary Rally for the first time this year and we've picked up a sweet, er, suite.

We are looking for potential roomies who'd like to split the cost for a couple of days...figure $60 per night.

Now the good news is, that unlike those other greasy rotor heads out there, we offer quality sleeping "buddies".

For those of you who like them petite and Hispanic, please call dibs on Eddie...I mean Eva.

If you like them big and hairy, like an East German roided up Olympic Swimmer...then you want some of the Gringo Grande.

For those of you who like Asian women...well...a wig, makeup, and a **** ton of saki go a long way...so Mark-san is your guy...well...girl.

Anyhow...in all seriousness...would be interested in finding 1-3 additional people to preferably car pool up with us and split the suite. Look forward to old friends and meeting new ones!

Edit: We now have a Cabin instead of a suite.

Edit 2: They have a casino near there? Hmm....may be hitting that up!

This is how I figure it for me:
Registration $25
Cabin $330 (hopefully split at least 4 ways so at least $80)
At least gas for 1000 mile trip (at least 60 gallons at $3.15 =$190)
Food and Bev$100 (conservative)

so about $400

Hm. Right on. That seems like a pretty fair estimate...

'Least now people can finish the modifier, if it's a viable option.

People like me.

Guys,
Make sure the roads going up to your cabin are paved, driveable and have no steep inclines.
That was something we looked at last year and decided not to undertake.

The cabins up there were meant to be driven to by cabin ppl and their Jeep Wagoneers
