No Confusion Gainesville Meet Location

Hi all! Sorry about the confusion...the location several of us were talking about has...oh...about 4 entrances and the first two I went to prompted me to think, "WTF?!?!"

We have the location...please see the map below and most of you should have my cell now.

I would suggest doing a google map to:
6020 NW 43rd St
Gainesville, FL 32653

This is the main *** Communications building here which is a great landmark to the meet. A few hundred feet past ***, on the left is 43rd Way. Take this round and you will pas by WCJB TV 20 on your left and see a rapidly approaching dead end. Take a left at the (fake) dead end and there is a park a few hundred feet down the road. You should start seeing 7's there!

I'm confused about the directions...

Trying to rearrange some things this weekend to make the meet, though I'll be without the trusty (in the loosest sense of the world) old Rotary fuel-to-noise converter. Unfortuantley I probabley won't know until tomorrow morning.

Anyways, hoping to see some of the old North/Central Florida rotary circle-jerk crowd that I'm proud to be a member of...

Ignore my first mapquest and just use the addy for *** cable. The same road dead ends into the park.

I snapped a few pictures, I forgot to take some of Gringo Grande's Vert, Tucker's 2007 GRM Race car, and CantGoStraight 3rd gen. Plus I missed the guys name of the other 3rd gen and yellow RX-8 that showed up. Tom also took some pictures hopefully he will post some. If you want the full size, full resolution pics just pm me.

Wooooo Hoooo glad those of you that could come "did" and glad you guys had fun. Big thanks to GG and Rotary Buddah for setting this up (pretty much last minute) providing the food and being all around great host. Typical Florida fashion the bugs were out to carry us off so the drive was a welcome diversion. It as awesome seeing the cars in rear view mirror (when I had a chance to glance back) and one a bit closer than expected at those speeds (-: but funn none the less. Hope we didn't scare any of the women folk off and can do it again up the NE way. Jack

I can't vouch for the others but I was at 100MPH in the streetported 'vert and was left behind like it was going out of style. I know at least 4 local 7's that did not come for various reasons. I am going to have a meet in Gainesville in '08 that has at least 20 cars come...track day? We'll be putting up a site soon.

Tentatively looking to caravan down to see Buddha in January down in Pinellas County.

i hit 150 in the straights, and was able to hold about 105 in the turns(with my wife "throwing punches" as jack put it,lol)

yeah the single turbo car from jax was kinda riding your bumper jack. little bit scary at those speeds.

the straights were easily at least a mile long, and we literally could not see kevin or my buddys rx8.
