-10 Moroso
As much as I would love to go to Moroso - the last time we went, only a handful of people actually ran their cars. It's also OVER 100 miles each way for people in Miami.
On top of that, with Midnite Madness, those of us that did run, only got a couple of runs in because it was so packed. Not worth it. Plus, they gave a few of us hell for all the "new" safety equipment they want you to have. The "Good 'Ol boys" are very biased towards imports and rotaries there.
For a future event - AS A CLUB - we should consider renting the track out between us and another club to offset the fee. Then we could all get as many runs as we'd like, without having others ruin the fun.
I am into going to agree that we need to go to a nice distant venue, so we can enjoy cruising there and back. Just not 100 miles away.
Perhaps some kind of "Round Trip" that ends in Key Biscayne again. I enjoyed Key Biscayne - it was a nice venue - with a nice view.

The renting of the track is easier said than done....believe me been there done that.... . You can do it but the cost might not be worth it to some people. Which means getting people to pre-pay for something and we all know how that goes.....

A suprising # of people brought up Moroso this time. Got me thinking that maybe I can put my tranny together in time and actually make it. I wouldn't recommend going to the import event with hopes of running much since even the test'n'tune the night before could be packed with racers doing test runs. Midnight madness is for ricers and packed.
I disagree though about Moroso being a bad idea altogether. It has been proven several times that you CAN get many runs in if you go on the right day and show up on time. The right day being Wednesday or Friday test and tune when there is no events or midnight madness that weekend. A person that tech's in by 6:30 can do 8 runs easily.
I for one am paranoid about messing around on the street and a little bored of eating **** around cars built to run. In any case it's always nice to have everyone together so have a great time wherever it ends up.

DAM, i just want one fd but 2 fc is pretty nice for now.
last time i went to madnight madness i got like 6 or 7 runs in with my mr2, it wasnt that packed, but yes there were plenty rice, enough to feed china, but most of them didnt race, i think they learned that a stickers and neons and chrome taillights dont add HP.
