Hi, my name is Rick. I just got a 94 montego blue bone stock rx7. I'm starting a build soon. I also have an 1100hp supra that was my last project. I'm looking forward to getting more involved in the rx7 community.

Welcome, I'm near Lake Norman, so pretty far west of you I imagine. You should come out the Charlotte C&C 1st Saturday each month. Theres one in Greensboro and probably some close to you.

 

Thanks...that would be awesome...good to know. I'd probably bring my supra at first being that I'm about to do a pretty decent build on the rx7. I'm hoping not to have it apart too long though!

 

There are several folk around the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). There is a somewhat active Triangle Rotaries (I think) group on facebook.

I’m in Greensboro, can you tell me more about the C&C there? I’d like to sync up with any local rotary folks.

 

If I remember correctly, C&C should happen on the 3rd Saturday of the month over near Tate St and Spring Garden. Other than that I'm never up in time or off to make it out to on, so I cant comment on how it works or times.

Thinking about bringing the FD to this meet tonight.

 

Wish I’d seen this sooner. Looks like it’s going on again today (Saturday). It’s 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive, a little more than I want to make but I just might check it out if it’s not going to rain today. Thank you for the heads up!!

 

It was my first time going to one of those, and I'll say it was pretty sad.
I only stayed for an hour or so before moving on to somewhere else.
That advertisement is quite "reaching" as there was really nothing there.

The best turn outs are still from Cars & Coffee.
The Greensboro C&C next time is moving to a much larger lot near the Coliseum so I'll check it out.

 

That looks the same parking lot where they have "lets talk cars" on Thurs evenings? At college next to Sonic? I'll have to try to make it to that if I ever get my FD back on the road.

Charleston SC here just picked up a FD rx7 anything go on in Asheville NC heading up there in a week and might bring the 7

 

Followed another silver FD into the C&C event this Saturday.
It was freaking hot out, so I didn't stay too long.

My friend sent me a photo later. Must have been posted on the C&C Facebook thingy.
