alright everyone, lets set a date for sure now. Would everyone be ok with the 22nd or 23rd? (sat or sunday). this could be great because BDC will just be getting in to town and may have some free time instead of just going straight in to tuning. also now that i work at rotorsports i may have brian convinced to let me bring one of his FD's out

I'm up for a meet, although I probably won't have the FD on the road in time for it -whenever it is :p

Actually, it does pretty well against a stock FD. In college my roommate had a 540i 6 speed. Since it has so much torque and a relatively flat powerband I think it is easier to get the advertised performance numbers out of than an FD. I spent a lot of time behind the wheel of it -very nice car.

 

im gonna try to come, cant bring the FC cause it's engine is taken apart on my garage floor while im rebuilding it.
ill just drive my miata, hell its a mazda at least


just looked at google earth for directions and noticed what im guessing is a go cart track, maybe I could get my car out there, its not much bigger then the other carts

 

yea thats a go kart track. i have yet to ride them...

remember... saturday nights are crazy in charlotte. the street racing scene here is insane. the spots we go to hangout at on saturdays usually have about 50 - 100 cars show up. granted that about half are total ricer fools... but there are some FAST cars that show too.

thats the plan for anyone that wants to hang around till the evening.

 

p.s. this weekend is NOPI at rockingham.

What time are ya'll going to be meeting? I dont know how many people have to work on saturdays, but i personally won't be able to get off untill 4 at the earliest.

 

well, the time we need to discuss still i guess. that saturday is actually my b-day and besides, our shop is closed on the weekends so i'm good for whenever. we could start meeting up around 6ish or so and hang out till everyone gets together. how 'bout it?


oh, and no i don't have a 302 in my little FB. SleeperFC got it tho you can see how it is if ya come out. i think you may have a better opinion of it in person
