I'm looking for a local to help me out with my 85 GSL-SE. I've been spending the past year off and on trying to get the car running, have now replaced everything fuel related except the ECM and Injectors were replaced with used but unknown condition from a "good" race parts box. The thing floods out as soon as the fuel pump kicks on unless you sit there at the relay pulsing it by disconnecting and connecting it.

I would like to find someone local that I could borrow an ECM at the least just to test and see if thats the problem, possibly a known good set of injectors too. I'm tired of dropping money on the car so want to actually test it before I do drop money on it. If it turns out to be either of those and the car finally runs, I will gladly spend the money on the parts and get it going, otherwise I will end up selling the car.

 

Where in Charlotte are you? I live in Statesville, and one of our RX buds lives off exit 18 I-77. There are quite a few of us around. Just PM me and let me know. I'm sure one of us could possibly help you out.
