So my FC is doing the whole false clutch disengagement thing again but this time with a whole lot of squeaking and funny noises. I am not to sure what it is. last time I replace the pilot, throw out, master, and slave. The flexible line is steel braided. I know I should have replaced the ctulch. I was wondering If anybody wanted to come here to NAS jacksonville and give me a hand, I can get you on base. however this weekend is drill weekend so I have to work so it would have to be the weekend of the 17th, 18th. The car is a S4 with a S4 turbo swap. It seems that this car has this issue all the time. did the same thing with the N/A motor and trans. Please help.
squeaking sounds like the pedal and its local linkage, or pressure plate depending on where the sound is coming from... is the pedal easy to press in?
pull the tranny and get a new clutch/pp... even one from autozone will work for a while if you dont abuse it! though of course everyone on here will tell you to blow the money on an exedy or ACT... just depends on what you use the car for really, but i'm sure you know that.

I removed the trans not too long ago. I know that O'reilly can special order exedy and Act clutches so I am going to talk to them. I only have a P.O. Box so shipping is a pain in the ***.
I was wondering who was willing to help me drop the tranny and R/R the clutch. there is a shop here on base with a lift. I have dropped the tranny a few times but having an extra set of hands would be awesome.

i dont drive like that... so i say nay. i also say no to exedy and act clutches, because i drive the car one day a week, if that, and just cruise. i boost, but most of my driving is highway, and i rarely put more than 50 miles every couple weeks on it.
i'll help you, but you gotta come to mayport's hobby shop
or my garage. i have just about every tool ever made, short of a lift.

it would be really hard for me to drive that far with a clutch that doesn't disengage. I can get the car to move but i think it will damage my transmission badly.

think it may be a slave cylinder or a clutch fork issue? does the slave piston move when you press the pedal? in all reality, i can come to nas jax pretty much anytime... i was just busting your *****.

lol, I hope it isnt the slave, I just replaced it. I think I am going to order the clutch fork and pivot ball from mazdatrix just to be safe. I would prefer to replace the parts right away then wait for the parts to be shipped when I have the car on the lift eating my money.
