I didnt single any one person out... so my intent was to be very general with the post and thus for it to be Unilateral.
By you posting the above you made it bigger than it had to be and that was unwarranted.

Its evidently clear to some that challenging someone that is driving by in a camaro to a race is to create problems. We dont need that. Just like the guy from DAD said ... the reason why Fuddruckers closed the classic car night and Bike Night a couple of years ago was for the very same reason.

When I met with him earlier in the day I had told him to come out to the meet that we wouldnt have any problems of that nature because in our group of RX7 owners they are pretty much civil and dont get into all that Hype. Juan from DAD is actually the guy responsible for opening up the meets again at Fudduckers.... you met him last night.. then the unbelievable happens.,, and guess what that is Chris ?

Your so called good friend who you would give your life for shouts out to the guy in the Camaro " C'mon show me what you got.. you wanna race ?" or something close to that.. then a little while later what does he do ? He peels out in his car ... what do you think Juan from DAD thought at that time...

I was beside myself.... I didnt know what to say ... nor did any of the other guys that were standing by us who were a part of that conversation. so what you need to do Chris is chill out and stop taking his side like you are responsible for him like you will take a bullet to protect him.

I said what needed to be said so everyone who goes to the meet at Fuddruckers apply themselves accordingly and respectively.
You want to blow it for everybdy else ? then go ahead and do the same thing he did... since you are displaying some twisted sense of loyalty. Let me know if he decides to jump off a bridge are you gonna do the same ?

You dont know my unique situation and why I have my mother living with me.. look up the word caretaker ... I dont have to go into it... because its a personal matter.... I am not like you that has to depend on Daddy to give you a roof over your head. Val is a thief, he had me install a perfect motor in his vert and he gave me a bounced check flaw *** fool.But a couple people like frank with the red fc and others have heard about the situation.then he's runnin his mouth on video how someone installed a bad motor into his pos ugly vert, Val u you know who doesn't like u and the balloon is growing , soon it's gonna pop...o i hope you don't mind sum rx7's from broward coming to ur miami meet "ORGANIZER" .he is just mad he's a control freak and he isn't controlling anyone.

Brandon, You know that motor was not a perfect motor. Again when I made the comments I did not use any names as I did use the word "someone".. never did I use any names. You have now brought it out into the light. I did pay the first $400.00 in CASH if you remember. I took a shortcut by purchasing a motor not from a shop but from an individual and I learned my lesson as that doesnt carry any form of warranty. As you remember well from our conversation there were things left loose like the starter, motor mount right side was not in place, motor was lobsided,the plenum box cracked, white smoke, oil leak,transmission mounts were not bolted down tight, The clutch that was installed with the motor was bad as well, and a sleuth of other things. As you remember well the monday following I was not able to contact you when the motor caught fire because there was so much oil protruding or seeping thru the header and exhaust. It looked like a gusher..Miguel from Miami Muffler worked on it when it caught fire. I was up on the lift above high to try to maintain the car on idle because there were so many vacuum lines that were left not connected, I also had a short because several wires were left loose that caused several ECU's to fry. Alex Lopez of Lopez Racing supplied a few of the ECU's to get me running soto speak. and then it was determined by Charlie of Turbo Clinic as well that the motor was bad motor. Dennis the Jamaican guy that you met worked on it to rectify all the problems and also installed the new motor , That motor was ultimately disposed of and another motor put in. I sold my POS vert to a friend in Broward and now I had the opportunity to buy it back for less than what i sold it for. I am not cutting any more corners and all the work that was done on the vert has been done by Charlie, Dennis and Carlos. So now were my actions warranted ?

As far as the meets...

I am done with all of it. I am done with all the problematic people, the young ones I might add that I have had the friction here on the forum. It's not worth it anymore. I really dont have to play father figure and baby sit them out at the meet @ Fuddruckers. Telling them what they ought to do or not do and to behave like they were 7 year olds like my nephews.

This car show tomorrow Sunday is the last event that I will organize or rather be an organizer for. I am done with all the Drama, immature kids, the constant bashing over the word *****... All of It... Let someone else be the ORGANIZER and take over what seemed to be a great idea of establishing a
Miami RX7 Club.

To everyone who will read this post...

I apologise for my behaviour and attitude if I have wronged you or made you feel uncomfortable with my sarcasm, or comments.

Let it be known from this day forward that I am resigning as Organizer of any and all future events, RX7 Meets, Schwaggs, sponsorships, commercial discounts from businesses (Auto Parts,Muffler shops, wheels, tires,interior & exterior components, stereo systems, car alarms, Apparel & Embroidery shops, etc etc) that I have acquired throughout this time as Organizer of The Miami RX7 Club.

I want to thank everyone who was instrumental in helping me organize the first meet at my shop like Phil and to those others that somehow one way or another get out of their obligations at home to come out each and every week or meet. Thanks again people.

I will only remain available to the select few that choose to keep in contact with me. I cannot use the word luck as it goes against my principles. I will however hope that the meets continue to grow and more people become involved so it will prosper and become successful. My hope is also that the next person that will assume the position of organizer will be able to accomplish what I sought to start.

It all looks like a spanish soap opera to me. everyone of course is entitled to an opinion and as the saying goes 'we can't all please everyone'.... but this is a democracy gents...so if theres a difference of opinion in regards to the the direction of our so called "RX7 Club" then why don't u GUYS vote on it and stop the childish namecalling and hissyfitting. Val appears to me in the last 3 months of my association with the "group" to be an allright dude with apparently the experience, motivation and attitude required to do what he's doing as an Organizer for the events. probably if the weekly meets were every Other thursday instead there would be a more comaraderie feeling plus time to prep your RX. (mine unfortunately is in the shop now for a rebuild so I have an excuse) plus I show up with my family at times. as an example if anyone has the latest issue of RXtuner you'll read @ the BBQ meet in Oklahoma where there were @ 40 RX's. The club needs more organization and one person cannot do this all alone so I propose to Val to continue with the good work he's been doing and possibly at the next meet the "club" can discuss the direction it'll take.

I hope this will be my last post...

I moved from Colombia to NY when I was 7 in 1969 and lived in Astoria Queens, NY not too far off from Astoria pool. I went to PS 21Q . Steinway St and Ditmars Blvd were not too far away. Astoria was predominantly a Greek area.

Then later my family moved to Corona... I lived on 108th Street & 49th Avenue not too far from Spaghetti Park and the Lemon Ice King of Corona.. attended PS 14Q on Otis Ave & 108th Street. Went ice skating at Flushing Meadow park. Played Handball , paddleball at Cairo park.

Yes, I did go to I.S. 61 Q a.k.a. Leonardo da Vinci from 6-8 grades.
Then to Flushing HS and school of performing arts on 135th Street & Convent Ave . Harlem, NY

Before hitting the 11th grade I moved out of my house and into an apartment on 129th Street & Amsterdam Ave. I cut class a lot... got into too much ****. Became a guardian angel and rode the subways with Curtis "The Rock" Sliwa and Sai my sifu at the time. The angels ; a vigilante group was nothing more than an organized gang. DJ Fuzz was in it at the time. Abdul Mitakkabear was a part of it also. I would hang around The Polo Grounds...I played ball at Rutger Park... I also hung out BedSty near Kingsborough...Brownsville Pink Houses... Red Hook.. these are some of the places if you know of them in Brooklyn. I was into a lot of bad **** at the time. Gangs, drugs, dealing, fightin'.. a lot bad ****...that was a part of my life at the time.. I was a part of the SK Boys and LC Crew from the late 70's to mid 80's. I done time behind the walls 23 hour lockup waitin for my ppl to put money on my canteen...no halfway house or some country club like the county.... 6 calendars ,, the rest was paper time and then I discharged. That was my past and some of the attitude is still there but past is past. Some of you in the meets know about my past and that I did time. We can all change and make a difference in life.. I lead a transparent life now ... people hear my testimony and I tell it like it is... Keepin it real.

There it is .. I hope this finally puts it to close... yeah thats right... I am from NY...That is it ...its all out here... this will be my last post... lets give this **** a rest now.

Enjoy the meets... gotta be persistent in order to persevere and be successful. That was my intent with the meets and the Miami RX7 Club.. perhaps my approach wasnt the best and I rubbed a couple of people the wrong way.. well that is the only way I know how... to be hard ... to make things happen.

I have had problems with Val in the past, and now they are squished.
How were they squished? We talked in person, face to face. Its
over and behind us. I suggest you guys do the same, and stop
ruining thread after thread with this crap. This kind of crap has already gotten some of our better threads deleted entirely by the moderators.

Does this mean I agree with everything Val says/does? Absolutely Not.

But he is spreading the word of a Miami RX-7 club that has never existed
until he began to organize these events. I am appreciative of these events,
even if I can't attend them all. You guys should as well. Because of them,
I have been lucky enough to meet many of you in person.

As a responsible adult, he can't tell people to go 120mph, go drifting, or
do donuts in their RX-7's. - Even though many of us have. It would be irresponsible and negligent for him to do so.

There is a time an place for everything, (racing, drifting, etc) - but at a parking lot near or at the meet is not the best time. Especially when such behavior will result in unwanted attention from the police, or the owner of the lot.

Give him some slack. If you have nothing POSITIVE to say, then say nothing at all.

I Agree With Alex Lets Just Stop All This Mess Before They Close The Thread.

Val Are You Going This Thursday, Go Because No One Wants To Keep You From Going Your The One That Organized This Meet You Should Go. We May Have Our Differences But You Should Still Go And Enjoy Yourself.

Guys Tell Me If This Is A Good Idea For A Design, I Was Palnning To Make Some Custom Kicks With A Big Rotor On The Back And Some Wings Attached To It. Also On The Side It Would Say "miami Rx7 Club" In Graffiti Letters Im Not Sure If To Do Them Anymore But I Want To Get Your Opinion First.

Also Juan I Wanted To Know If You Could Give My Little Cousin A Ride To The Meets On Thursday Not The One That Rode With You Last Time But The Little One. He Said He Want A Turn In The A First Gen. To Bad Alex Cant Give Him One He'll Probely Make Him Take A **** Lol.
