[B]To help remember this weekend, a few of us will be filming as much of the happenings on Saturday as possible. We will edit the footage and make DVDs for anyone who would like to purchase them. They will be $15 shipped. We will have ordering information with us on Saturday. We will be filming as many cars as possible during the "Show and Shine" and getting interviews with the owners. We will also add some in-car action of the runs up and down the gap, and will have some spots on the mountain where we will set up a tripod to get as many of you in the film as possible. I can't wait to see everyone on Saturday morning!

The waiver just helps protect the organizers of the event.

Well, my FC is mortally wounded, so I'm gonna try talking my mom into letting me drive her Impala . I'll probably be there before the show and shine tomorrow.

Can I ride shotgun with someone down the gap?

As long as you aren't a serial killer, I might have a free seat. Look for the 10AE with a big nose and double stack wing.

I would also like to ride in your 20B Reese.
I'm going to let SPOautos drive my car when i'm filming the deals.
So, that will leave a free seat.

Damn, the car isn't THAT special just yet. I've still got rough piping, etc. But thanks for the interest!

Sure thing, guys. So that's 3 people so far... :punching keys on adding machine: at a rate of $25.00 per person :more keys: Hell, I'll make me some money! LOL.

Seriously, though, I'll give you rides. Does this mean that I might get to see my car on the DVD? That would be pretty cool.

Everyone be safe driving there! We're leaving Columbia in about 5.5 hours.

Reese

So let me get this straight. You want us to sign a waiver, to drive on a public road and park in a public area, just because you happen to occupy the same space and are afraid of what I might do?

I hope everyone's having a wild time right now. We were up for 3 days straight trying to get my car together for this and random unexpected things kept going wrong throughout every part of the project. It just set us back too much to make it and just after midnight on Thursday, we called it off. We had planned on going hard and renting a trailer and loading boxes of shirts and picking up a couple models to bring with us and having a great time. But vendor or not, we're still car guys and without the car it wouldn't be any fun for us to make such a trip without our own car. Chuck did not have anything in stock to get me parts quick enough for the Rotary Extreme vendor, so I was bringing what I had sitting in the shop with me and planning to setup a promotional event price list for everyone to take advantage of at the meet. We were really looking forward to being there this time. Sorry guys... I'll bring the hot Asian models to the next one.
