I`d love to but part of the "agreement" was that I not bad mouth him on this forum. You should be able to figure it out....

For anyone listening to Jim Brown about his GSLSE, you might want to call me at 678-523-7252 to find out the real details about Jim's GSLSE. Somehow if the motor was built wrong how did he drive back and forth to Gwinnett from Augusta 3 or 4 times. Motor has to be good to make it at all. Also the 6000.00 was for alot more than the engine. Also I agreed to pay him back 1800.00 to settle him. I did everything he asked and then when he showed up to pick up the car he was expecting me to have fixed everything on the car for 6000.00, which is crazy I quoted him for rebuilding the engine and fixing a few other items but he got 1800.00 back so really he only paid 4200.00 and this is what he got:
GSL-SE rebuild 107K on car Jim Brown
3200.00
made deposit of 1700
706-284-0812 tow guy
706-798-3388
balance due 1500.00 plus engine parts
made a deposit of 1000.00
balance due 1705.00 including engine parts of 1205.00
Paid 500.00 6-7-08 Balance due 1205.00 as of 6-12-08
Installed ignition switch, mounted steering column, hooked up the speedo cable behind dash, install all loose plastic dash pieces that were removed, fix melted wiring on steering column, check and adjust drivers side door window, swapped out oil cooler, swap out all door locks, replaced cruise control switch, 160.00 for CAT and installation, 120.00 for both tow fees to exhaust shop, (925.00)
Balance due as of 8-1-2008 $2675.00
Paid 1000.00 on 8-4-2008 and paid 1800.00 on 8-11-2008
PAID IN FULL. CAR IS FINISHED

The paint and exhaust work was 660.00 that left even less to me like 3540.00 so its more like I got screwed because Jim just tried to Play me by trying to get me to have fixed everything. He shows up to court wanting me to pay for the money he spent on tires, shocks, sway bar links, and the list went on, it was crazy.
So please call before you spread word that I build bad engines or do bad work since Jim is the ONLY customer that I have had that was unhappy with my work

If we can get some people to attend, I would show up. I think Rodger was trying to get something going but i don't think he has a mazda right now.
