AL This may be a long shot but...

Did anyone on here buy a blue '88 automatic SE with the phone dialer wheels in the Birmingham area way back in mid-late 2002? I don't even remember the month but this was my first car and I'd love to know what happened to it. You paid $2700 in cash, we did the test drive and later the transaction in Pelham and I think you lived in one of the bham fringe cities to the west.

Thanks!

i bought what you are describing here in huntsville in 04-05. for the motor after an engine fire. it was a little ricy with a whale tale, neons, gay ebrake lever.

pretty sure it had the blue interior too, with spray painted smurf blue vents and various interior panels

The only thing done by me was a cone filter intake with a little filter on the air pump and a strut tower brace. Did it have a roughly half foot wide, but shallow smash on the rear quarter panel near the radio antenna? Lol I hope mine wasn't riced and then burned

I know this is kind of a thread resurrection but my dad just found the VIN and did a Carfax for me!

The car was registered in Bessemer back in 2004 and 2006, probably by the guy I sold it to. In 2009 it was registered in Decatur and had a bunch of Title updates with the last entry being a service contract issued at 125k mi at the end of 2010. Nothing after that.
