Markham Park Meet 12/11/05 Pics
Thanks a lot Simon and Val. The food was great. I had a great time. I think there was at least 30 cars and over 50 people. I got to run the turbo 350Z in 3rd gear only on the way up. It jumped a little and I started reeling in steady. It is a very nice and quick car, running 7.5 psi on a Turbonetics kit. I didn't get to run any RX-7s because I didn't feel like doing 100 just to catch up and go from there. Although some of them would have been interesting, there were several big turbo FDs. All the cars were really nice. On the way home I stomped all over a VR4. Since it was stock, I let him floor 1st while I shifted to 2nd at like 15 mph, then floored it. This way it was pretty exciting for the first 3 seconds. By 70 he was 5 cars back. There won't be much footage, I'll post the little I got when I can, but the turnout was great, thanks everyone.
I had a great time, but had to leave early.. ( damn work )
It was great to meet a lot of you. Terry, dude you and your wife rock! Justin, thanks for letting me ask dunmb questions about the turbos,, also guy in a sweet blue 3rd gen was very helpful with info on motor questions,.
But Hats off to Cook, you had a lot of prep work to do with cleaning the meat and set up of grill.. ( he brought the big one from home and set it up) your effort did not go un-noticed.. My loss I left before i got to taste!!

I wasn't able to attend but the meet looked fun. I'll be at the next one (hint hint Val!).
