Well per several requests heres the meet I've been trying to set up for a while, thats more then just sitting around and doing nothing.

Here's the tentative schedule:
6:00 AM - Meet up at preselected location (Macys parking garage at Pembroke Lakes mall comes to mind)
6:15 AM - Begin drive to Key West
8:15 AM (possibly earlier depending on if we take pics and do the speed limit) - Arrive in Key west
8:15 AM - Grab breakfast
9:15AM - Board reef fishing boat
1:30 PM - Return from fishing trip, and drive to beach and relax with a few cases of beer for a few hours
5:45/6 PM - Drive to Hog's Breath and have our fish that we just caught cooked
8:00 PM - Grab some drinks
10:30 PM - Begin our drive home

So as you can see this is a FULL day meet, but one with lots and lots of stuff going on.

FISHING:
The price of the fishing trip is 35/person if you bring rods and 40/person if you dont. You can get as hammered drunk as you'd like on the boat, as long as you don't inconvenience other people. It's a two story boat and even if you don't fish, its a great way to hang out with everyone in the sun (I think they'll discount your admission if your not fishing ... but not sure). Two rules for the boat; 1. No bottles 2. No bananas - no fruit, no pictures of bananas, no sunscreen with banana oil, etc.(google it and youll understand). The earlier we book the tickets, the better spots that we are going to get (ideally want to be at the back of the boat and those spots go rather quick .. the quicker you respond the quicker we get spots). Also, we are leaving so early in the morning because the fishing is 100 times better then in the afternoon and night.

ABOUT THE MEET:
So with a 100 mile drive something may happen to one of the cars on the way. If it does we will all stop for 15 minutes max, and then be on our way (unless someone wants to stick behind with the vehicle). We are their to help eachother out ... but we have a schedule to stick to and if we stop for any longer, we will miss the scheduled events. As an FYI, triple A premium membership will tow you up to 100 miles in any direction.

You'll want to pack your own lunch so you can eat it either on the boat or on the beach.


This is not going to be a huge meet, but a meet for all the local guys (and even the guys further away) to hang out and have fun times. PLEASE NOTE - GAS IS APPROXIMATELY .20 cents cheaper in the Keys (Alan you dont have to worry about this, youll prob make it there and back on one tank lol)

I need to know ASAP who will be going. We need to buy our fishing tickets two weeks in advance.
