Im looking to get my FD painted Imola red, anyways I need to find a decent guy to paint it. Let me know if any of you know any decent paint shops in SW florida, thanks

 

pro comp in cape coral does some really nice looking work, but ive heard they are expensive.

 

My brother had a really bad paint job and body kit install by them..And 2 they are moving up north at the end of the month..

that sucks. i always been told and seen some awesome looking work done from there.

i know its hard as hell to find anyone who does a good paint job.most of my experiences with any paint work have been bad.

 

anyone else have any places to check out? Checked out a few today...

 

im facing the same issue.. i cant seam to find someone that will do good work... thye are so used of doing insurance jobs and scams that they just do a crapy job and scream: next!

there is a shop called ppg i believe near me that painted my wing and had to match the paint.. and they did pretty dam good at matching it and painting it

 

Jackies auto body in Port Charlotte does good work that I have seen, he restores old cars, actually what I mean is he does most of the paint for peoples old hotrods and things like that, if you go to the car shows in punta gorda/port charlotte(mostly old vettes and various 50's and 60's cars) he does most of the paint. Everything I have seen looks really good, but with any body/paint shop I have heard my share of bad stories about the guy as well.

Ok I got it... I found my old friend from CT... He is in Florida now.

To make it very simple, the guy is awesome. This is a guy that does his body work and paint himself. He has painted some of the best paint jobs I have ever seen...

I spoke to him and he told me that he was going to put the body kit and paint the my car first and then I could send him people... I will keep you posted with the info...

 

i ended up going to auto f/x right by the jag dealer in ft myers on us41, they came highly recommended. Dropped off the car monday so he said it should be 2-3 weeks.

 

ok cool... my friend is going to take some time with mine.. he takes the car appart... and when i say appart i mean bare...
