This is the last call for RRDI T-shirt orders. We're submitting the order Friday morning, October 14. If you haven't gotten one ordered and want to get a shirt this will be the last chance for awhile and they won't be cheaper in the future. The weather is cooling off and you might want to think about a Long Sleeve T for the coming cool evenings. I hear Girls like rotaries and love cuddling up in oversized, long sleeve, RRDI T-shirts when they get to ride in rotary powered monsters. How great would you guys appear if your date commented on how chilly it was and you could open a rear bin and pull out a neatly folded, black, XL RRDI black t-shirt for her to put on. OK, forget the neatly folded part, at least store it in a ziploc bag. This simple gesture would subtly communicate how thoughtful and sensitive you are to the needs of others, and most of all how understanding and prepared you are to meet your date's needs. And the greatest thing about that is that you were willing to spend the extra money to insure her comfort, so you are a thoughtful, kind, considerate, and prepared guy who drives an awesome car.

Met with Capital Promotions today to finalize our shirt order, we're getting 24 short sleeve shirts and 7 long sleeve shirts. There was an extra $2 charge for XXL and $3 for XXXL shirts but other than that everything was agreed to at $15 for short sleeves in all sizes from child to XL and $17 for long sleeves from Small to XL. They said we would be able to add to the order until next Friday, October 21, that's when they will setup for the printing and the shirts will be ready at week later on October 28. I put down a 50% deposit to get the artwork finished and to schedule the screen printing so the work will getting underway soon. I'll post up the final artwork for everyone to see when I get it to proof and approve.

I need final payment from everyone that hasn't already paid by the next Drive-in so that we can make the final payment when I pick up the shirts on 10/28 or 10/31. The easiest way is to get your outstanding payment to me is to use PayPal, those that want to do it thru PayPal please PM me and I'll respond with my email address. If anyone has any questions or wants to add to the order post up here or PM me.

Any shirts ordered at a later date, and not part of a group order of 12 or more, will be very pricey, so if you want a shirt order it now.

 

Just two more days to get your order and payment in for the RRDI T-shirt. I have to confirm orders on Friday with the screen printer then we'll have the shirts by the end of the month. Deliver date is October 28th.

 

TShirt order is in. They should be printed and done by end of next week. Definitely ready for the first RRDI in November, that'll be 11/12. Time to get your payments in thru paypal, I'll post later who still owes what so you'll know what to do.

Bert, what's the earliest I can get David's and my shirts?? He's going on deployment very very soon.

 

Christina, I plan on picking the shirts up Monday, Oct 31, and you could get your's anytime, as soon as we can arrange a meeting. I work at the Sprint headquarters, excuse me, Sprit-Nextel headqtrs off of Capital Blvd. in Wake Forest so whenever is convenient for you.

What size do you need, I think we'll have a couple extra, one Large and one X-Large. If you make it to Durham let us know and we'll do something together with as many of the RRDI as we can pull together that weekend. I'll set a shirt aside if you'll let me know your size and if I'm not mistaken about having a couple of spares.

Bert, Call my cell sometime when you get a chance. I need to pick up David's and my shirts this week before this weekend, because he goes on deployment a week from tomorrow.

 

I got a call today from the screen printers and the shirts are ready to be picked up. I'll probably get them Thursday or Friday so let me know where you want to meet me and I'll let you get the shirts for you and David. I think y'all are paid up for your 2 shirts and David's short sleeved shirt, right? I don't have the list with me today.

 

Yeah... we'll actually be out towards your house this weekend, cuz I'm going out to Mary's so David and I can look at a house in Wake Forest. I'd like to meet up with you Friday if at all possible... let me know what is best for you.

 

Dammit I have to get on here more often, I'm missing out on EVERYTHING! I would love one of these shirts but I guess I'll have to wait til next time, if there is one.

 

Friday would be good for me also. It looks like I won't get to the screen printers until Friday morning so I could meet you at the Sprint Bldg off of Capital Blvd before work on Friday. I start work at 12:00 Noon so anytime between 11:00 and Noon would be good.

My order list shows you paid for your two shirts but haven't gotten the money for David's shirt.

 

we paid for David's shirt at a later meeting... the one when we were dressed up all pretty, actually. Hmm... I have school Friday until noon, but if you were going to be in Raleigh near Falls of Neuse & Millbrook before you go to work, I would ask ya to just drop them off at my house.

 

OK, I thought I remembered getting the remainder for David's shirt sometime later but didn't have it marked on the list. That's cool. What are you doing Saturday morning? Care to drive out to the Cracker Barrel and pick up your shirts before we leave on the Wilmington drive? Either that or I could leave them in my car Friday after I get to work and you could pick them up whenever you're in the Wake Forest area.

 

The latter option might be better. Give me a call tomorrow when you're free, and we'll touch base.

 

What time are y'all meeting at crackerbarrel? We hafta go to Fairfax VA that day, but if the meet is early enough we might just have breakfast with y'all before we go...if it's okay with Stina of course, lol

 

Bert, Just bought my ticket! I'm flying in Dec 16th around 10:30 PM. I'll be in NC until Dec 18th.

We'll be getting together at the CB in Morrisville around 7:30 and leaving for Wilmington around 8:30. If you can make it out that would be great. I'll have the shirts if you want to wait and pick your shirts up there.

Phil, great to hear that. Looking forward having you in RRDI territory. Let us know when you're gonna have some free time and we'll have a group meet you somewhere for lunch. Anything we can do to help you out, just let me know. I'll set your shirt aside and be sure you get it that weekend.

 

I picked up the RRDI shirts this morning and will have them at the next RRDI for pickup and payment. Anyone going to Wilmington and wants to have their shirt to wear, post up here or the RRDI shirts thread and let me know. I won't bring the shirt if you don't request it. I'll get some pics tomorrow of our people in the new, official RRDI shirt at the drive tomorrow. Capital Promotions said that we would probably be able to get additional shirts, in lots of 12, for the same price as the initial order. So anyone that missed out on the original order will be able to get one on the next order and we won't have to order 24 to get the same deal.

Everyone going to Deals Gap definitely needs our shirts, Long Sleeve and short sleeve will be needed in the mountains.

I'll also need full payment before I can give you a shirt so have your money if you didn't prepay.
