Knoxville meet
Well this is long over do. Last time was fun so it’s the same deal. All are welcome not just Knoxville people. If you have an RX-7 or not come on down.
Meet at the Hooters in Fountain City at 1pm on May 6th (Saturday)
Plan is talk, eat, look at cars, make new friends, and if people want to go for a drive go for it
We have had a good turn out the last few times.
Hope to see you all there!

There is a perfect place to park next to Hooters. Its a vacant lot in front of what I believe used to be a Howard Johnsons. It gives us plenty of room.
So please park over there.

I should be there, most likely in the TII. If it goes down before then, I'll take my less than legal FB. I'll try and pass the word around to any unaffiliated rotaries I see wandering around town.

Looks like we may have a good turn out.

I gotta figure what's been killing my battery on the TII. I think voltage gnomes have been sneaking in and stealing my power in the middle of the night. I might just need a jump after the meet, so I'll bring some cables

You will see tons (literally thousands) of old cars near the fairgrounds. I'll be in town that weekend, but drooling over these other cars. All of them are 1948 and older and cannot be original. Too bad I couldn't drive the 7 up there and meet yall. Oh well. The car show is all weekend and is well worth the admission price.

I should be able to make it. Just to throw this up in the air but would you guys rather cookout or eat at hooters? Im sure we could have a cookout at Corey's(my business partner) house which is only about a mile away from hooters. Not trying to thread hijack but this way we could throw football, cookout, or just hangout as long as we like.

We could do that. Is there room for alot of RX-7s? The only problem I see is alot of people I have talked to dont visit the forums. So I am afraid they might show up at Hooters and be left out.
There are a couple options.
1. Meet at Hooters eat there and then go to where David said and drink some beer and just hang out.
2. Meet at Hooters then all drive to said house. Cook out an all.
3. Have some one wait at Hooters for 30 minutes or so and send people in the right direction.
4. Just eat and meet up at Hooters

I had originally planned to have a cook out but thought it might be hard for people to find the place.
Would you be ok with option 1. Meet at Hooters eat there and then go to Corey's and hang out.
That seems like the easy way out for me. I am not sure if I could get ahold of some of the people that are planning on going to Hooters.
