i say we do it in biscayne, the keys maybe a longer drive but 20 miles of it will be the stretch which only has 2 passing zones, and when you get out of there the speed limit is 35 in a 2 lane and those troopers and monroe county police dont mess around. especially if they see 25 rx7 rolling passing each other. if we all hook up at dolphin mall we can head out 836 east and that would be a nice drive then 95 south to biscayne. as for ft lauderdale, i would say they can meet like at the towers or maybe golden glades and then head south with some footage as well. Just an idea, Im open for what ever anyways

Key Largo is very nice but cruising footage will be limited plus the troopers issue...
Nopi is great but too far and we won't even get to run the track that day much, plus gotta get there super early to get good parking, Biscayne sounds like it for now although I wouldn't mind a nice cruise to Mocoso on a test 'n' tune day........

I believe that Key Biscayne will be the best option for our next meet.

We can celebrate a couple of the guys or gals birthdays on that day for all whose birthdays fall in the Month of May.


I feel we should do it on Sunday , June 5th since most people have off on Sundays.

The weekend before that one is a holiday weekend so many people will be out of town so what do you say we do it on Sunday, June 5th and lets start out earlier so we can have more time out there...

I need confirmation from all of you as to the date so I can start distributing the Flyers and posting them in some area businesses.

I will be at the NOPI Event that whole weekend.

 

i don't think having the meet during the same weekend as NOPI is a good idea.....anyone from Broward want to ride up to Nopi on Sunday. Directfreak.......will you be staying up there or riding back each day....if so you can meet us up a towers and all ride up together

 

It depends if my car is ready or not - but I plan to be there both days.

If my car is ready, - I will trailer it up there.

If not, I will take the boosted truck.

 

Hmm.... I was cool with not going to NOPI and going to the meet on Sunday.... but it seems that a lot of people may want to attend NOPI, like Broward people and serious racers. It would suck if people are missing in action at the BBQ . Any way we could do both?

 

i agree with roland. we could have the next meet sunday, either may 22nd or june 12th. this way everyone can go away for the holiday, attend nopi, AND the next meet.

HELL YEA! Key Biscayne is awesome man...very chil. Cops can be trouble if we race or speed...IF we race since we would be incapable of such immature acts (wink wink). Alot of my rotary buddies live near biscayne so im sure they are down as well. But I'm pretty sure we'll go to Nopi June 5th...so can we make it another day? Im down with a saturday or sunday. Also I say we go to the next midnight madness @ Moroso as well...i know im going for sure. Been dying to run my car since it was built.
