2006 Road Course Schedule

Open Test & Tune, Saturday, June 10th
Morning Session, 8am - 12N $30

Afternoon Session, 1pm-5pm $30

All Day $50

Crew/Spectators $5

for anyone who hasnt done this. you need to come out and give it a try .. all you need is a Helmet.
its pretty fun to run the course as well as see some other kewl cars in action.
dont miss it..myself and 2 other rotarys are going to the morning session.
would be nice to see some other guys show up .. were always coming down to O-town. come check out all the hotspots in G-ville.
that is if you think you can handle it..

i (and some other tally cars) came down for the last one (morning session) but didn't see too many cars. on the other hand i got about 7 runs in 15 minutes...

 

Friz we must have missed you as the guys you came down with said you made a few runs and left (Rory and I made the aft. session) I'm off on the 10th. to do it again. Jack

yeah i heard some sevens showed up after lunch. i'll see. morning session means leaving tally really early in the morning...

 

Would be nice if you could make it. There was allot of interest in getting the raceway to open up the road course for fun and pleasure. If the turnout continues to be on the marginal side they may stop doing it in the future and it will be hard to get them to open it up later on. So if you have thought about doing it show up for at least one of the sessions, you'll get plenty of runs.

Who's parting out an FD ? ? ? Looks like I won't make the track tonight. Ran into a problem trying to get some old tires mounted. Jack

 

no one, just thought we could build up a story to make people feel like they have to come out to the track.. yoiu were supposed to play along.

 

sh**, and double sh**, i looked at your first post and thought this was a friday. I could of worked on my car to get ready. I am going to jax saturday to pick up parts. If i made it over there to track i would shoot for am session

 

I'll be there tomorrow.. you guys still planning on the morning session? let me know if this changes. i'll film and spectate but i will bring my car just for the ride.

Of all the things to find that's not a good one. Decided the heat was too much to do both sessions, can't complain got at least 20 runs in before the brakes failed on me, so I figured I better quit while I was ahead. Hope you can make it next time. Keep your eyes open for next months event. Jack

yeah i thought i might be able to catch you guys before lunch but i didn't leave tally until 10:30. some people there said some 7's did a little off-roading, lol, okay who was it? i left after 4 and sure enough just as i'm leaving on CR225 i see a black tii and a montego blue fd going the other way...

Hi Fritz,
I was going to come back out and watch the formula ford looking car but my step daughter dropped by and we didn't make it back out, hope you still had fun. I'm running crap for tires right now actually have a mixed set 245/45 on the front Yokahama AVS's and some off the wall brand on the rears 255/55 so after it got warm it was like running on bannana skins. The early track setup allowed me to get up to 85 but damn near didn't make the hard right hander at the end of the straight. They will post a date if they have an opening next month. Jack
