probably because most people live in central florida, plus it is up to you if you want to go or not. no one is forcing anything on anyone

you again...why is it you always have something negative to say when ever i post up a meet
The reason we are meeting in central florida its because there are 3 big rotary car clubs here..and we tend to always have parking lot full of cars.... and its up to the person who wants to come not "why would anyone drive"we are not forcing no one

but that i recal last meet i held and central florida rx club members held ...people came from all over

once again guys we need a place for the cooking

you want a big meet? then i suggest not doing it on this Date. I know I and alot of other RX7 friends of mine will be attending the Supra meet that weekend. Its supposed to be VERY big this year. I like your enthusiasm to do it and all, but if there is gonna be another big central Florida meet this summer like last years then i suggest 1. Moving the Date and 2. Holding it at Race Rock or a place of similar fashion.

OFFICIAL !!!!!!PLACE FOR MEET WILL BE AT ...RACE ROCK!!....10:00AM

I think it will be a good place since last year there was one held here around the same time...we can meet up there swap parts, eat, and go for a spin in that area

DATE---JULY 15
WHERE-----RACE ROCK on international drive/I4
TIME----11:00am

...plus if you have things to do that day there would be plenty of time....

make flyers man. Then u could pass them out or have one of your friends pass them out on the next lakeland event "June 25th" You will for shoure have alot of nice rotarys come out if you do that, Thats like the best idea if u want nice rotarys and nice old schools to come out

So tell me how is it I'm being negative when you stated in the staement below that the meet your throwing is for central Fla members. Pete wasn't trying to take away anything from you and Iwasn't trying to be negative. Your staement came across as "we wouldn't come up there because it's too far, but were going to have a "BiG meet" and want as many people to come as we can get. If you read the July 8th thread I think you'll see it's an open invitation and not aimed at any particular area, It's even stup so all you have to do is show up, doesn't require grills, food, drink or anything. My point was just what you said, and agreed I'm not forced to come to your event any more than you to the one on the 8th. Best of luck to you with your get together and I wish you central Fla guys the best.
