Heya guys:

Just wanting to see how everything has been going? How the rides are, families, etc... Had a great time at the December meet. I can't wait to be back in Jacksonville in May. There is a thread on here about Gainesville Raceway Track days. It would be great if we could have a big meet with the Gainesville guys and the raceway to flog our cars. Anyways, hope to see some posts. Hope all is well!

Hey Pete,
just sold the FB. Freind of mine bought it, we put new ignitors in it and she fired up on the first try after sitting for over a year and a half.

The top on the vert had a few tears in it, but someone didn't think there were enough so they took a knife to the top to try and break in. THey did not get in, I think it was kids, but I need a new top more than ever.

other than that everything is going well. Would like to get to Gainesville again, had a blast last time I went.

Lets pick a date when well all be in town, and meet at the GIR Test-n-Tune. I had the red Fc with the greddy front mount and the microtech. Maybe my motor will be finished with its rebuild by then. F@#k apex seals.

My FD is at the painters still , but I'll have it back Wednesday or so ... gonna keep it in the garage so the paint can cure real good , then I'm driving it to Jacksonville for the Ga vs Fla game GO GATORS !! ... hope you'll have a meet then ...

 

i dont have my rx ( locked motor )anymore but i can bring the titan would like to meet up sometime just tell me where and as for driving force if it is the same driving force from the phillips hiway place i would not trust them reports of them taking things off your car to put on thiers but as for norman met his mom( driving his red s5) nice lady but if you can get ahold of him he does the engine building as side work and i hear hes good and fairly priced.

i was working in mandarin the other day, and a black FD that looked a lot like mine(except for a large front mount ) went by me.

Are there many rx7's in jax? do you guys meet anywhere?

 

Well we used to meet every couple months in Jacksonville. The group has kinda dwindled in numbers. I don't know many of the new RX-7 owners in Jacksonville, but I'd like to get to know everyone new. I'm willing to plan another meet and try and see if some of the old guard would be willing to come out! Be nice to have another bbq. If you do a search on Jacksonville BBQ you will find that there are a lot of threads on previous BBQ/Meets.

 

I'd be willing to come to represesnt the 1st gens.... have to be on a saturday though...
