I am on the planning stage, along with a large autobody shop in Brunswick, for an import car show. This will be the first import auto show here in town. I am to contact the local auto parts for donations and gifts and ask them if they like to set up a tent for advertising. I am only trying to get something going in this town to spend a weekend together with car people and "shoot the breeze". I was thinking about $20 dollars entry prize and that will cover the cost of a t-shirt and event entry. I have set up a tentative day for May 1. All you rotor heads are invited and hopefully we will have a greater turnout of RE vehicles than anything else. Happy Rotoring...

 

So far I have "permission" from local law enforcement for the car show. Next week I am contacting the local imports dealerships, (Honda, Toyota, Nissan), to see if they like to have one of their cars in the show. I made contact with a member of a Subaru club and he mentioned that he will invite his Subaru buddies. I will have my car in the show and are still waiting for other RX7 club members in the area to joint and support the event.
