There is a difference with the brake boosters. Visually the S5 TII a little smaller in diameter and a little thicker than the S5 NA.

It's a pretty big difference with the R&P. The biggest difference is the tightness with a good rack versus a tired box. That and having power steering if you want are the biggest things you notice.

Let me know if you want to check it out closer. There are a few different ways to go about things.

I got back from Afghanistan not to long ago, bought a 1991 N/A and done quite a bit to it. I am new to mechanic work and want to learn how to do stuff to this car myself(with some help) Started on an OMP removal recently. I got the manifold off, the omp off and block off plate and bolts installed. Everything I took off are labeled in Zip Lock bags. I would like to get rid of rats nest, pull A/C and lines etc. In need of some help in the coming weekends if anyone is interested. Can give you some cash or trade you parts. I need a control link for the driver side front. Right now the shock is lowered all the way and front left is sagging. It's that little dog bone plastic peice. Anyways, if you are interested in helping let me know asap as my wife stays at home with our baby girl and needs a vehicle there. I would drive the Rx to work and leave my truck. Again thanks for reading this. Looking forward to meeting up with you guys and checking out your builds.

Cory, either one of thos turbos would work. They both are the same ARs as mine. You can find T04Es on Ebay as cheap as $110 shipped. On your stock engine 10 psi would be freaking insane.

Matt, I would like to get up with you later in the week if that would be possible. Just let me know.

BTW, anyone remember this car? http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/2463313626.html

Humm, let me think. Josh and I was debating on how much HP I'm making. Well, The FD couldn't outpull me with me running 12psi and blowing the old tires off in 2nd. If i'm not making 400+ rwhp at 15psi, I'll kiss your a$$!!!!!

Dang Kory. That's one of Chris's GSL-SEs that he ownes. Looks like that one was just sold. Instead of worrying about another RX, you need to finish the one you already own

hey guys, haven't been on here lately, i just moved and i don't have internet at my new place yet. anywho, it was great to meet you matt, hopefully you can make some more meets.

in my process of searching for parts for the 5 lug conversion, i've been doing some research and i figure matt would probably be able to answer this question. I decided the rear brakes don't really need upgrading and i was gonna try to cheap out and get just adapters to go from 4x110 to 5x114.3, but does anyone make that? or would i have to end up using 2 different adapters?

i guess with the re-speed kit i would have to end up getting the axles + the kit to be able to use 5 lug wheels on the back of my GSL. in my point of view that's just too expensive at 199 for the rear bbk, and 315 for the moser axles.

is there any other options besides spending that much money or swaping to a different rear end? maybe re-drilling the rotors/axles on the rear?

Edger, all you need for the front is 84-85 front spindles. 12A or 13B car doesn't matter. Then you can use the 5 lug second gen front rotors. You will have to get the caliper adapters from Re-Speed to use the FC front calipers. As far as the rear, just have the axles an rotors redrilled and use the same brakes.

thanks sam. i figured i could get away with just re-drilling the rear since most stopping power comes from the front anyways. do any of you guys know anyone that can re-drill them? sam?

84-85 have larger spindles and bearings like later gens than what the earlier 12a cars do. has nothing to do with weather the rotor is 4 or 5 lug.

Michael! I would love to see you again! It would be cool if you could come up.

As far as moving the meets to Saturday, you guys need to decide on what you want to do.

Well, I have been waiting to see what the rest of you guys want to do. Seeing as how I haven't had much responce on changing the day. I say that we try it for the next meet. Let's say Saturday the 13th. I am going to say 6:00 pm. So, you guys can come or not.

Here's the deal guys. I am growing tired off trying to keep our meets going. If you guys want to continue this, I would suggest that you put forth a little more effort. If it's just me, than I can quit coming. I just do not understand why it seems like I am the only one who still cares.
