what are you trying to do? turbo your car? as far as the cfm goes it all depends on the turbo and so on what size trip and the rest. I have a boost prepped holley 650 if you are interested.

actually i'm wanting to try an edelbrock and was wondering weather to stay with a 600 or go to 650. but the going turbo part goes, i'm probably still going to wait til i get my fi setup on it. i'm still in the research phase of the whole thing.

I hear good things about edelbrock carbs just them staying adjusted and not needing too much tinkering. Given you have a street port 13b I would definitively recommend going with the 650cfm those things can sucks some serious air down at the top end.
