Alright, I picked up an 88 vert about 3 weeks ago. I got it running, and it has a blown water seal. OK, so I pull it apart and am ready to pull the engine. I dropped the tranny off already, and I have the engine sitting there...

I run up to the local tool rental store.... They do not rent an engine hoist. No biggie, they only weigh like 170-200 (so I've been told.) I thorw a pair of chains on it, and run a 2x4 through it. Me and a buddy drop the engine mounts, and we can barely budge the engine.

I NEED AN ENGINE HOIST. I can not afford to buy one ($200) from Harbour Freight, and then I have to store it. So, if there an anyone in the WPB area that has an engine hoist and wouldn't mind loading it up and coming by tomorrow, I can throw $20-30 bucks your way. I have the chain and load leveler, I just need access to the hoist. It will take longer to unload it then it will to yank it. It is 100% unbolted, just sitting in there waiting to be plucked...

PLEASE HELP.

There have to be rotary people in WPB, that have access to an engine hoist....
