Exclamation HELP! Fellow RX7 owner needs a favour

My S4 TII's oil return line blew while heading back home... car is ~80 miles away (right off I-95)

Recently a friend of mine got charged $60 to tow his car 2 (yep) miles. I'd rather not think what they will charge me to tow 80 (160 mile roundtrip! ).

Can ANYONE help me?

What I mean is...
1) Can you sell me a oil return line?
2) Can you tell me how to fix it?
3) Can you tow my car?
4) Can you LEND me an oil return line? (only for a few hours, please consider it)

If you require compensation, I will accomodate you.

I didin't exactly leave the car in a friendly neighberhood and I really need to have transportation ASAP.

Please reply before going to bed if you are reading this.

If all else fails - can someone please give me the number to a cheap towing service?

Tims advice on AAA Gold is the best idea.... do not get the regular AAA because that one only allows 25 miles of towing and that membership only costs $60.00

Whereas the better AAA Gold allows for up to 100 miles for only $ 106.00 per year. So this one is the better deal. Once you get it down here I can tell you where to get it repaired or if I have time I can remove and replace that line. Its pretty simple to do with the right tools.

Those oil lines i replaced and got Hydraulic lines from Bubba Dog that will never break.. they are stronger... or Stainless Steel lines that you can purchase from Corksport.com for about a C note.

If you have to get the factory type for reason of cash flow then remember that those will go bad after some time. I know someone that has a brand new one from the dealer.. I will ask him how much he wants to sell it for.

I busted my oil line at one of our meets in Key Biscayne on a Sunday and the towing company charged me $130.00 back to Kendall.. Now, I have my car insurance thru State Farm so they reinbursed me that money.

Where exactly 80 miles away is your car ?... the towing companies would need to know that since i can call some of them and see what it can cost... but quite honestly the best bet is to get the AAA Gold membership. Its a much better deal and route to go with.

You can replace the oil line yourself and like that you wont need a tow truck.. I need to know which one broke... the upper or the lower one... or rathe the one that connects to the front of your motor or to the rear of your motor ?
