i am super excited to have moved from Wisconsin to Hiawassee, Ga. a hop skip and a upshift from my favorite track, Road Atlanta. and a whole lot of rotary guys. while we live in the mountains/twistees and it is fun carving corners i am looking for some level flat roads to do third gear pulls and they seem to be in short supply. most of all i look forward to meeting you Southeasters.
still a Packer fan, thank God for the Ticket.

Are you bringing the business with you?
Coleman Precision Rotaries - Rotary Engine Rebuild, Turbochargers
If so the southeast just got a whole lot richer.
Hiawassee is just a hop, skip and jump from Deals Gap, not a coincidence I'm sure.
I live 15 minutes from Road Atlanta. And the Atlanta area is a Rotary hotbed.
Welcome!
Now that you're in Georgia you'll need to check out the Dogs.
They're playing Alabama tonight:

Thanks for the welcomes!
as a devotee of road tuning i am finding myself in different areas of my tuning maps. the midwest doesn't have much in the way of elevtion changes so there isn't a way to super load the motor. no problem here.
it is so neat to drive by an Appalachin trailhead after climbing 1000 feet. i will say i haven't yet found much in the way flat straight roads for my typical third gear pull. there also seems to be alot of protection on the roads. so it is a learning process. but i do love it.
a fellow club member stopped by last weekend and we had a really nice chat. he had a battery explode in his engine compartment and it trashed his front cover. while i don't do mechanical work except on my own car i told him if he brought the shortblock over with a front cover and gasket i would swap it in.
spoke with Brian at Mazmart today re some sets of I Seals and look forward to buzzing down to Atlanta and meeting him. Of course Road Atlanta is on the way. i ran the Runoffs at Road Atlanta for a number of years (before the chicane) and love the track. might be fun to say Hello. lots of nice memories. a trip over to Spartanburg to say hello to Roger and Nancy Mandeville is also something i am looking forward to.
while the hardware, tracks and roads are really appealing it is always the most fun to meet the community and find out what they are doing with our magnificent cars. i have always felt you can learn something you didn't know from everyone.
looking forward to having fun in the SE.

Hi Howard and welcome to Ga. I’m not as active as previously but still re-read the suspension threads you posted to learn or remember the set ups to start as a basis to build from. If your going to be driving at Rpad Atlanta, please post so we can make the drive and spectate and learn.
