well looks like I might be lurking in these forums in the coming months. I live in central NC and I currently own a 2005 Subaru STi but I'm looking to sell it and move onto something I've always wanted to own.... a RX-7

So that being said I'll be in the market for a 93-95 RX-7 in the coming weeks and I was curious if there any of you local that would be willing to take me for a ride in their ride during the next local meet. I would have come last night but sadly was at work.

Well I guess i'll be the first to welcome you to Rx7club. Where at in central NC are you? I'd take you for a ride but my car got flooded by rain water and now it's not running quite right (imagine that). anyways, welcome! You've come to the right place to learn about these cars. Please read through the FAQ in the third gen section, just to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.

 

I'll be up at VIR next weekend (Dec 2,3) instructing for the Carolinas Region PCA Driving Education event. Come by and I'll see if I can get you out on track for a ride. Look for the black Excursion and Montego Blue FD (GT nose, no wing).

 

Hey macdaddy, were you up there for the Audi one they had weekend before last? I saw a few FDs there along with just about every dang thing else! Was a lots of peeps up there for that one.

But to the OP, welcome to NC! Come to one of the RRDI meets if you're in Raleigh (Saturdays in Raleigh thread) or close by. And if you get a chance go to VIR for sure, great track to watch races or attend driving schools!
