Exclamation The Grand-Am Experience for Mazda Owners

Here is quick run down of what this event is all about:

The Grand Am Experience for Mazda Owners is shaping up to be an amazing experience for all who wish to come out and support the Grand Am Rolex and KONI series! Grand Am hopes to put on a truly unique experience for Mazda owners that love to spend their time at the track.

Here are a few of the perks that are in the works for the 2009 season. Each race will be posted with full details, but here are some teasers!**

1. Parade Laps (at select tracks)

2. Hospitality tent or indoor facility when available

3. Tech Talks with KONI, Hoosier, Pirelli and Grand Am Officials

4. Driver Meet and Greets (private)

5. Track Tours

6. Pit Crew Challenge

7. Crew member for a day on a Mazda team ( by drawing)

8. Pace Car rides ( by drawing)

9. Swag from series sponsors

10. Eric Meyer or another driver-owner will do a Grand Am 101

11. Crew Chef Q & A where you can get some advice from the leading crew chiefs

**Please note that all offers may not be included at every track or event. The organizers of each event will do their best to offer as many experiences as possible, however, not every even will offer the same things. All experiences are WHERE APPLICABLE and not 100% for every event. Please make sure you check back often for updates on what will be offered at what track.

Myself and many main players from Grand-Am, Mazda, and Meyer-Motorsports have all contributed to making this a once in a lifetime experience for any race enthusiast. Are next event is planned for April 24-26 at Virginia International Raceway for the Bosch 250 Rolex series race. As of right now we do have designated parking for all Mazda owners, some type of swag bag, and our very own parade laps.

Stay tuned for further details regarding discount pricing on tickets and special parking passes. For details on the race schedule please visit: VIR Schedule

If you have never been to a Grand-Am event, you have no idea what you have been missing. I know we're in the south, and NASCAR is king but where else can you literally walk right up team owners and pro drivers and sit down and talk with them like they are your neighbor from across the street? Definitely not at a NASCAR event! Come by and meet folks like Chip Ganassi and his driver line up of Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas or maybe hang out with Richard Childress. Or walk up to any teams garage area and ask to be given a tour around the place...every team there is willing to take the time to meet with every fan possible.

We are now taking sign ups for who would like to attend. Please list your SN, real name, what vehicle you are bringing, and how many guests. We are trying to get an accurate number so we can have VIR and Mazda rough head count.

Thanks,

-Nic

Grand-Am being a part of NASCAR has been a blessing! More TV time, more sponsorship money, more media exposure, and much more. As far as them taking over the helm of Grand-Am, they have left them a separate entity. Grand-Am can only prosper from here.

I'm still trying to firm some plans with Steve Focazio, Manager of Marketing and Promotions for Grand-Am, for this next event at VIR. Please join the sign up list and support one of road racings greatest series, Grand-Am Road Racing Series!!!
