Good car shipping companies?

I am looking to have my 7 shipped from Wisconsin down here to Jacksonville FL. I was just wondering if anybody never some good companies are services. I figure if i find a place base out of this area it maybe a little cheaper. but you never know.

There a lot of good shipping companies out there
I recently googled this and got six quotes for a open truck from Miami to Atlanta for $300-450.
I imagine it will be a lot more coming from Wisconsin. My guess is $1500.

Most companies just put your info on a board and get the cheapest person to do it, or a truck coming this way with room. If you want to know exactly who is towing your car do a search, find a reputable shipper. It will cost a little bit more but you will know more about who is moving your car and their reputation.

Best transporter would be you. Buy a plane ticket there and drive it back.

uship.com is a good place to start.

I found a shipper through there and ended up getting my car (and multiple extra parts including a roll bar) shipped from 48188 to 33312 in an enclosed trailer for $700.

I total would and was going to the last time I was home. however my mom was worried that my 87 rx7 won't make it. I didn't want to have to call her every 100 miles or so. Plus i am in the Navy so showing up late would be bad. I found a quote for $525 for an open trailer door to door.

Call Jim with mercury auto transport in Florida. Tell him Jon with the rx7 sent you and he will take care of you. He knows how low our cars are.

I highly suggest that you research whatever company you're about to hire very very well and make sure you find good reviews on them.

I've seen really bad stories about shipping companies down here, big ones too, just can't remember the names now.

I used Nationwide Auto Transport 888-953-8998 http://nationwideautotrans.com/ to transport my new 7 from Indiana to NC and they dispatched it out to Lewis Fredrick Lines LLC 704-281-8611. Lewis called me once he got there to pick it up, checked in with me on the road, and called me once he got two hours out from my house. I asked for it to be loaded on the top and they provided it for me w/o an extra charge like most companies wanted.

You can check out my album for more pics.
