GIR Roadcourse Track Event - Feb 10th
For anyone in (or near) Florida, please go to this event! This is one of favorite track events, great for testing and tuning your car. Good price and you get LOTS of track time. They have been holding these once a month, and I would go every month if my car wasn't in pieces!
This is at the Gainesville Raceway. Link provided below.
------------
FYI this may be the last event we hold. The turnout has not made this a profitable event so far and if we can't get around 50 drivers for the next one, we are probably going to axe it.
SO COME ON OUT!!
NEW FORMAT FOR 2007!!
One Session
10 AM to 4 PM
Course change at mid-day
car & driver $40.00
(all drivers must be entered,
one car & driver per entry)
crew & spectators $5.00

The driving training and vehicle dynamics test track is a 1.6 mile road course facility designed and built specifically with a mix of different types of curves, corners, intersections and straight-aways.
All drivers must have a helmet (Snell 2000, SFI 31.1A thru 41.2A minimum), and be at least 18 yrs. of age with a valid state Operator’s Drivers License.
All cars must pass minimum safety tech inspection.
Full Competition cars must meet SCCA or equivalent standards for car and driver.
