getting some bites on a miami meet in january
I will be paying for almost everything. but i was thinking if people would come to the meet. we need to have more meets like when lambo-doors guy was doing them.
SO late January i was thinking at Amelia Airheart park (borderline between 826 & I75)
Late january on a saturday or sunday. Wondering who would go?

I think you have a great idea...
We have discussed this here in Broward and agree that "lambo-door" guy always had a large group attend his meets. Also, we have wanted to start meeting every 3 to 4 months instead of only at the "churasco" meet. This years "Churasco" meet was excellent with about 40 or more Rotary's so I think keeping the momentum going is a good thing...

yeah those were the days.. That's when i first came onto the rotary scene and i remember how there were always people at the meets and everyone was cool with each other. LOL you talking about Val?? That guy was the biggest douchebag if i ever met one nobody like him.. But he did run the club well. So put me down definitely my car will be out of the body shop by then so i can finally not be the guy at the meets with the fixer-upper.

Allot of the RX-7 owners here in S.Fl don't usually reply to these threads but hear of the meets by word of mouth. If you set a date, more than likely everyone will start spreading the word about a meet and hopefully it will draw a large crowd. Good luck with planning this, I hope it starts a trend here in S. Fl

well what i want to do is have at least 4 a year to keep everyone contact with each other & the rotary scene no matter what type of rotary car you drive. so since November was the last time we did it i was thinking about either late January or early February.
hurley that doesn't sound like a bad idea. so maybe afterwards we can head there to eat. I know the resteraunt wouldn't mind as it'll help his business since were paying!
