Gainesville 7's...

Saturday, November 8th....

The weather is getting cooler and there is no home game. How about a drive down 441 to Ocala for lunch and a drive back up I-75 afterward.

Get some driving, food, and fun in.

Anyone up for it? Gator game is away that weekend.

Gonna be in G'Ville THIS weekend for homecoming ... IFO is the weekend of the 8th

 

probably can make it out, depends on my school schedule.

I'll be out of town buying RX7 parts this weekend and I have no idea what everyone else is doing!

 

damn! would have liked to attend this, but i'll be going to the Markham Park meet that weekend.

Going Surfing for a few hours this morning , then heading to gainesville !! ... be there tonight around 11 , and staying 'til Sunday afternoon ... tailgating on 4th avenue , behind the Pike house

 

We have a nice little group so far...should be a good time!

 

Has anyone actually picked a location for this yet?

 

Here's the deal. The Bennigan's next to Hooters of Ocala closed down so there is lots of parking where people won't be next to those of you with nice cars. Hahah.

I told the Hooters Manager we were bringing 8-10 cars so he offered us 50 free wings which I thought was a good deal.

So...Hooters of Ocala...right by 75. Meet there at 12:30PM on Saturday, November 8th.

Thanks for the heads up Kev......I'm in as long as I can get out of going to a wedding.....not my own thank God! Look forward to seeing everyone there. Did you call Div....the guy we met going to Orlando?

 

95% chance I will go, I was thinking about going home that weekend but if you get a good group together I will stay.

Sorry to highjack your thread- wait... I'd love to come on your lunch cruise but wont be able to make it (packing up things for the move).

Now then, to highjack you thread Are all you guys coming for the Cecil Meet? I havn't been able to get hold of Jack or Tom. I Pm'd couple of the other Gainsfolk. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Same place as last time.

Original Plan was to meet at 13th St/Williston Road and drive 441 aka the backroads to Hooters and then back home in 75.

If it is easier for everyone to meet at 75 and go and then decide how you want to come back, that works for me. Input anyone?

 

Back roads sound fine to me.

 

Ok....here's the deal.

Meet at the Publix on 34th St by Williston Rd around 11AM. Departure time will be around 11:15AM - 11:30AM. We will go down 441 and then shoot up 200 to Hooters.

Enjoy lunch and come back home on 75.
